β β β β β Will never rent from this company in future.
First, they quietly added an additional driver, charging me extra β¬35. They did so after I returned the car.
Second, upon returning the car I had to wait for 40 minutes for the shuttle to airport (despite 5 minutes drive to the airport) - was almost late to my flight.
The car was slightly smaller than the one I paid for. It was also very smelly - like someone dropped whole bottle of cheapest fragrance - had to always keep windows down to not get sick.

β β β β β I have had very good experiences with Centauro Rom Ciampino.
Starting with the pick-up by shuttle bus at the agreed point (in front of the parking lot P5 at the intersection where the IP gas station is -can also be seen at Google Maps-) up to the return of the vehicle.
In the office no attempt was made to sell me an additional insurance policy, but only pointed out that there is one.
Accordingly, it was correct to post the deposit for the vehicle on my credit card. It was also correct to charge a deposit for one tank of fuel, which was also posted to the credit card.
Vehicle was almost new and in pristine condition.
The return was done within a few minutes and was courteously handled by the employee.
With the shuttle bus I went back from the airport and during the trip I got an email with the statement from Centauro for the rental and that the amounts (deposit) had been booked back.

β β β β β Rented a car here. Very quick pick up from airport - just call them when you arrive. Was given an upgrade, they informed me about possible insurance, but not pushed in any way. Also had few questions during rental, they answered quickly. All in all - highly recommended rental.

β β β β β Very pleased with the hiring. Great car at amazing good value. Staff very helpful, efficient and courteous. Only a few minutes journey from Ciampino's airport by shuttle bus. Did not have to wait around for shuttle to take me back - it left with just me on board as soon as I was ready to go. Will certainly go back and would highly recommend them.

β β β β β Very good service - helpful, quick, efficient. Had a great experience: we were driven from Ciampino airport to the car rental office by Centauro shuttle. Even though they couldn't give us the car we reserved (Fiat 500), they gave us a Hyundai Kona instead - a better deal for the same price, which was considerably low. That was pleasantly surprising. When we returned the car a week later, everything went well and we were driven back to the Ciampino airport. Five stars!

β β β β β Excellent, experience with this company. Our flight was delayed and we arrived 45 minutes late, the bus driver was waiting to take us to the car rental office near Ciampino airport. He was so nice and polite. I would definitely recommend this car hire company and I will be using them for my next trip. Thanks for the great experience.

β β β β β I found the overall service provided by this Centauro office to be excellent.
The only problem I experienced was finding the pick up point outside of Ciampino Airport.
I loved the car we were provided with, which was a VW Tourag. Lots of room for all of us plus the luggage.
The staff member who served us was friendly and helpful. He explained everything very well.
I will use Centauro again on our next trip to Europe.
