I rented a car for two weeks from this Budget location and it definitely was no budget. My flight from American was delayed which made me miss the connecting flight and miss the time I scheduled to pickup the car. Budget cancelled my reservation and charged me the full amount for the rental. Great policy for a car rental company operating in an airport where flights are normally delayed. Do not rent a car from here ever!!!

I had the same experience as others with the rental company's false claims that there was "damage" to the car and excessive charges to my credit card (an additional $460). Both my pictures and rental car company's picture's illustrate a tiny, barely perceptible mark that would be impossible to claim was damage on the lower front bumper. To claim this damage beyond normal wear-and-tear, let alone normal wear and tear, is false and not what a reputable rental car company would do. Then upon receiving my credit card statement, besides the $460 in damages, there were an additional $236 in charges beyond what we were initially promised. Going through the paper-work, there is no way to reconcile their charge to my credit card and what we were promised. So, the total overcharge was $700. BTW, calling the Avis/Budget international line is a disaster. On hold for over 2.5 hours, bounced from place to place, before being told it would take them 30 business days for a response. Seriously, how can they expect people to every use them again.

Rental owner did not do a walk around and document damages upon pick up like I had asked him to so I took pictures for visa investigators . Tried to up sell and push insurance which my visa already has. Then apon return tried to charge for absolutely every imperfection even for routine maintenance. And old damages from other customers. No agent was available or working at the airport drop off to go over anything and settle or dispute discrepancies with. The office door was wide open with no one working inside very unsettling as keys are left inside in a drop box easily accessible to thiefs ect. If you are a foreign traveler and not a Italian citizen stay clear Also drop off location and map on website is wrong you must take vehicle to building A at the airport second level. "Never rent in italy from here if you are a foreign citizen huge scam to non Italian citizens" I'm normally a nice canadian but this experience was outrageous and I have rented in 20 countries worldwide without incident

We were charged for pre-existing damages and every single microscopic imperfection as well as general maintenance of vehicle problems. We did not hit a single thing with the vehicle and it was returned in same condition as recieved. We took pictures prior to taking car and after these pictures show the car is in excatly the same condition. Damage charges are now at almost 1200 dollars. Wish I could upload the pictures to show everyone the pre existing small chip/scratch that was charged out at 1200 dollars. Tourists be warmed i believe this is a common scam here.

I wish I can give them 0 starts. Pure scheme charging people extra fees under the pretext of can damages. I returned the car in exactly the same shape I got from them and they charged my card $713.00 more on top of my $312.00 I paid for the rental. I filled a claim with them and they never got me an answer back, file a complain with my credit card and after 4 months of using the car I still fight them through my card insurance benefits. Unless you want to feel the same pain I am going through please do yourself the favor to stay away from this scheme company. If you see the pictures they attach for my claim you would Lough about the microscopic damages they claim about.

It’s shocking that it takes 2x longer to pick up a budget rental car we’ve already ordered than it did to go through immigration. Only one person working the counter on a Saturday morning and her manager hiding in the back instead of helping with the massive line. Then they gave us the wrong car. Next time go right to the garage where they actually can get stuff done right.

The person at the desk was very kind. The parking for collection and return is the letter A (PARKING A). Careful because I returned my car at 5AM and the gate was closed. A guard must normally open you. Shout if someone does not open immediately. They are probably sleeping.

I almost knew this would happen. Returned the vehicle, asked the person who was there to inspect and confirm there are no damages and there will be no extra charges, which of course they did. Then they send me the bill for extra 240€ for something that definitely seems painted and definitely was not there when we returned the car. I thought budget was not a scam company like some smaller ones, clearly i was wrong.
