When I arrived to pick up the car, the company refused to deliver the car to me and said that I would only be allowed to take the car If I also hired Noleggiare full insurance as well. I complained saying that was no point of hiring two full insurances and also that nowhere in their terms and conditions I wasted that hiring their insurance was mandatory. They just created excuses to try to take more money from you Rude staff Lost all the money I paid for the reservation STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM !!!!!

The clerk was trying to force us to buy their own insurance, claiming that there is something wrong with my driver license (which I have been using for years in many countries on different continents). According to him, it was not valid to drive in Italy, though it was, apparently ok, if I buy their insurance (200 EUR on top of the agreed price). When we refused, motivating that we already have coverage from DiscoverCars, he refused to give us the car. We also saw other clients in their office, which were cheated (offered a different car - lower class with lower parameters) that they booked.
F	Francesca Umali on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad experience with this rental company. My husband has an international driver license but had his credit card stolen. So I had to book the car under my name and use my credit card. We asked if it was possible to add him as the additional driver and pay the extra free which we have done before at other car rentals with no problem. The agent refused and said it was against policy. He stated there was nothing he could do to help us. When we asked to cancel the booking he told me I had to call the booking agency directly. I called the booking agency and they said there were nothing they could do and that I had to talk to the car rental agency. It was a very frustrating experience. When I asked the agent to cancel the booking he said he would cancel it but would not provide any proof our documentation of the cancellation. I called the booking agency again to confirm it was cancelled and they informed me they never received any cancellation on their end. I had to open a claim against the rental agency and it is now being investigated. It’s very disappointing that the agent at the car rental was unwilling to help us. We never once demanded anything from him but it seemed like he was not interested in helping us in any way. I work in a customer service industry so I know exactly what it means to provide customer service and I feel like we weren’t even given the bare minimum of it.

a	arabjoe on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please avoid this rental company - they'll scam you. I rented a car for a few days, driving from Bologna to Rome. The day after returning the car to Rome, I was notified that I had scratched the under-side of the car. I have rented dozens (perhaps hundreds) of cars over the past 20-odd years and have never had someone claim that I scratched the under-side of the car. It goes without saying that I was not shown the under-side of the car when I picked up the car (because that would be mad) and therefore am being charged EUR 280 for a tiny scratch (they have sent me the photo of what they have stated is a "minor scratch" but is so small it requires squinting to see) that (a) more than likely pre-existed my hire; and (b) is clearly not being repaired at all by the company. Please avoid this company and go with one of the bigger names.

To be honest the service agent was ready for push back once we presented a visa debit card (in Australia this is considered a credit card) rather than a credit card. I reassured him that I’m not angry but fine print policies are very hard when dealing with internationals and that I thought it was unfair that there was no alternate options. Because of the cancellation policy we were put in a corner to pay an extra $400 euro for insurance or four-fit $1000 euro booking. No other option was considered, holding the full excess on a debit/using a credit card that was not a ‘physical’ card at the counter etc. I’m sure if you have all your ducks in a row and read all the fine print you will be fine but there is a definite sense that they will try and charge more where possible rather that find an alternate option. We paid the extra and will update if there are any problems when we drop off. The agent was friendly and I told him I would be writing a bad review and that is a reflection on company policy not him. Advice: just read the fine print a few times and make sure you have everything as requested.
