I only rent Sixt and this is mainly because of the great staff in each location, it doesn’t matter if in Italy, US, Germany or Portugal, they are always friendly and helpful. This Time both Rosalia and the counter and Daniela at the car were not only friendly but extremely helpful. Car pick up and return were done only in a few minutes, as usual! I’m a Sixt fan all the way!

I would highly recommend Sixt rental office in Catania. May be the price little higher the others, but having clean and new cars and excellent service worth every single euro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a car at the airport and service was great. The rental car did not have a spare tire. It was a BMW. The roads in Catania are not very good and the tire became flat and undrivable. When called for assistance SIXT only cared about the car and not how to help me and my family. How do you rent a car without a spare and not have a plan for the customer and only for the car?

recommend them enough. There are a few dodgy rental stories out there when it comes to Sicily but Sixt were really reliable.
Fun story: we actually forgot a bag (with my passport!) when picking up the car and only realised that days later, but thanks to the honesty and help of the cleaners and staff were able to find it again.
