★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I chose Sicily by Car for my stay in Calabria with a lot of apprehension because I had read a lot of bad reviews on them. But everything went perfectly ! The car was better than what I expected (Fiat Tipo with integrated GPS and a lot of options) and no one forced me to buy any extra insurance. It is true that Sicily by car's employees were not particularly nice or smiling but they were very professional and that is the most important. So would definitely recommend this car rental company at Lamezia's airport based on my experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their insurance is worthless. They do not cover "impure" fuel. Not just putting gas in a diesel engine, but just bad gas from a station with gel or dirt. The roadside service is horrid. They left us stranded on the Autostada for hours until the Carabinieri finally came and got us a tow truck.

My experience with this company was disappointing.
When I took the car, I s
was waiting in the queue for 35 minutes, even though there was only a couple in front of me. Mrs. NANCY, I remember her badge very well, it moves with a fantastic replay, not helping the clients to leave faster. She was not unfriendly, but very slow.
The car was ok, fairly new, clean, and neat. I had to teach the car before the opening hours of the counter, and I was instructed to leave the keys in a box that is on the door of the airport office. Said and done. Before I got to the airport, just before, on the highway I made the tank full. From there the car park is at the distance of 5 minutes. They took advantage that I was not there, and I was then charged with the amount of £ 40. I called them and they said that it was missing 7l of fuel. Ridiculous, lies disappointed. I recive a email address where I can complain.
I have sent them a email, complaining but obviously they didn't reply after that.
DONT TRUST THEM...
DON'T RECCOMANAD!!!

Those people are liars, after we returned the car they pointed a single dot on the front window(The dot was not a crack it was like a 0.2mm scratch) which was not even possible to see when we got the car and the said we have to pay 620 euro for the front window. These guys are stealing money, don't use their service. We almost missed our flight as well because of them!
