I recommend making a reservation because the line can be very long. Buon appetito!!

Super fresh and tasty with awesome ragu sauce on it.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Rome.
The tiramisu was super light and full of delicious goodness.
The price was better than most restaurants in the area as well.

I didn't have a reservation (party of 1) but they where still kind enough to seat me after a 10minute wait at peak hours and the begining of tourist season (yes that includes me). Okay so there are a lot of tourists that come here but it was mixed with a local vibe that also seemed to enjoy the cuisine. And after eating here I see why. The pasta was great! Generous with the wine pours also. Located in a really great area. I can easily recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food, great service and tasted very homemade and authentic. Big portions, great house wine. We had Otello the first night in Rome after spending a few days in Venice. Venice disappointed with the food (with a couple exemptions) but Otello was amazing. Don’t skip the tiramisu and the house wine is perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Read so many positive reviews about this place so we decided to go here and try it ourselves. Waiters were extremely friendly and we felt welcome. The food is not expensive and you get a huge portion. The fried artichoke I can recommend but still a bit on the greasy side. The crunch was there and the flavour of artichoke came out nicely. The main course I am disappointed. Amatriciana was SUPER salty, I have never eaten anything SO salty in my life. I asked the waiter and he told me that the cheese is just salty and the dish in general is salty. Something did not feel right because the more I ate, the saltier it became. I get it that the molten cheese on top will be salty. It can’t be that every bite of the pasta was super salty (does not matter where I sample, it is still soooooo overpowering). The pizza was also a disappointment, not delicious and also greasy & salty. I will not come back to this restaurant. Good luck.

My girl and I decided to give it a shot on our last day here in Rome.
We glad we did.
The service was on spot.
We tried the pasta carbonara and the roast lamb .
Both of them were marvellous.
Pasta was juicy and the lamb was tender.
They both were really tasty and well proportioned.
Fried artichoke was tasty as well.
Looking forward to visit again next time we’re in Rome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a tough one. This is definitely a place for tourists. The waitress (which was super friendly) was not even Italian, the portions are HUGE (which is not an Italian thing) and not very tasty.
If you are not looking for an all out Italian experience, this will do. But if you want to eat traditional dishes in the best way possible, this is not the place, and does not worth the wait outside
