H	H E on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here after having it recommended to me and my partner and we both found it very mediocre. The waiter didn’t speak English (which I can’t complain about) but seemed angry with us for not speaking Italian. Service was very very slow and half of our order never came out, when we asked the waiter he just shrugged his shoulders and dropped a menu on the table and walked away. My pasta was nice however the pork was horrible and I wasn’t able to eat it, my boyfriends pasta was okay but nothing special. Definitely not worth the hype & wouldn’t rush back.
R	Ralph Ward on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food deserves 5 stars to be honest, very tasty, but we had quite a bad experience with the staff. Everything was a bit chaotic. Our waitor couldn't really speak English (but in all fairness I can't complain about that) but it was like he couldn't be bothered to be there. He didn't speak up in the noisy atmosphere, when we asked him to repeat he rolled his eyes and shouted back as if we were stupid, and he forgot the cheese we ordered. When we finished we had to pay at the entrance, but needed to wait standing for 15-20 minutes, and we had to remind them that a deposit had already been paid otherwise we would be charged a lot more.

The food was really good, especially the homemade pasta and the tiramisu. And the atmosphere outside in the small street is perfect. R
H	Howard Choularton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We couldn't get a table at Nonnarella or Tonnarello at 8:30pm on a Friday of course, so we thought we'd wander and came across Il Duca. They had free tables and the food looked good, so we went there. That was a great move. The food was hearty and tasty, the service was fast, and the place was soon completely full with a nice atmosphere. To start we had a bruschetta pomodoro, fried courgette stuffed flower and fried buffalo mozzarella. The bruschetta was amazing, probably the best we've had in Rome, the tomatoes were gorgeous! We also enjoyed the fried mozzarella, which was super juicy and moreish. Our mains were the tagliatelle funghi and gnocchi with mussels, both of which were absolutely delicious. Especially the gnocchi, which was eaten in seconds... Exactly 6 minutes! Yum!

Bucatini was lackluster with pasta that was unevenly cooked. Service was slow even by Italian standards, although the servers were very warm and polite. This place has gone to the doldrums, save your dinner calories for some other place.

We ordered fried artichoke (€5), roasted veal with roasted potatoes (€12), and grilled filet tenderloin with parmesan and arugula (€20). Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend the place in the heart of Trastevere.
E	Enar Chouse on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely flawless! Homemade pasta, really homely flavours, and yummy and authentic Italian food. The best place we ate in Rome for a very competitive price. Staff was really welcoming too.
