★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Roman food in beautiful location in Trastevere. They have tables outdoors as well as indoors seats. The menu is simple but full of traditional pasta dishes. I recommend cacio e pepe. The spaghetti are cooked at the right point and the sauce is just delicious. Don't expect a fast service! This place cooks your orders at the time being ordered, no precooked stuff here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the best gnocchi of my life here. Since then I haven’t been able to enjoy gnocchi anywhere else. Believe me, I’ve tried. I just don’t order it any more.
Back to the subject at hands. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was friendly and welcoming despite us being obvious tourists. They spoke English well and the gnocchi dishes they have on special on Thursday were hands down the best meal that we ate on our trip. The oxtail sauce was very good. We returned on another occasion and I again ordered the oxtail sauce with short pasta. The waiter recommended we try the boiled artichoke that was on special and I'm glad we tried it but it wasn't that amazing. I wish we could get gnocchi again here before we leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t be surprised if you’ve strolled through bustling Trastevere streets and you arrive at this restaurant in a quite street with seemingly no guests eating there. This place is one of the best in Trastevere to have dinner: I’ve been there twice in my time here in Rome. As an Italian, I can tell: what they are cooking is fantastic. The menu is not huge, but they have Romanian specialties which taste delicious. The restaurant serves food in the fourth generation since 1938. Definitely try (if they have it that day): artichokes, cicorie, rabbit and pasta! One of the waitresses seems a bit confused and hectic from time to time, but the service in general is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful gem hidden within the dense rush of Rome, a sanctuary for authenticity, taste and history. Thank you for thr hearty food, i would recommend it to anyone seeking legit Roman cuisine.
The staff is very special and welcoming.
Mind you the restaurant comes with a warning that its not for people looking for a quick meal because everything is made to order.
