β β β β β My boyfriend and I were wandering through Trastevere and stumbled upon Canonica - we noticed the beautiful lights on the side of the building and were greeted by a friendly man named Gianfranco. We had a wonderful time talking to him throughout our meal and it was obvious he and the rest of the staff loved their jobs. The restaurant was lively and situated on a beautiful street. The food was delicious and authentic - I ate the calamari and the cacio e pepe and they were both some of the best Iβve had.

β β β β β Excellent pizza, pasta and artichokes. Lovely caring service, they made sure that it wasnβt cold on the terrace and were very attentive. The outdoor terrace is very cute. Special thanks to Diana from the team who found a candle and sang me a Happy Birthday song!

Good service.
Generous portion of quality food at the going rate for Rome prices.
I had the seafood mixed grill (salmon, swordfish, prawns, squid) with a side order of vegetables of the day.

β β β β β The restaurant is well located and seating outside is really nice.
However we were a bit disappointed by the food. The tagliatelle al ragΓΉ (tomato sauce) were really tasteless.
The lasagna was good but the serving was definitely too small and badly presented (it was pushed down and spread to take up all the plate to make up for its little size).

β β β β β The last day of our stay in Rome, we went for a family lunch. We found this restaurant and it was the best restaurant we visited here. Absolutely amazing staff who had fun with us as friends. He told us about himself and was interested in us. He brought us free champagne and the food was unforgettable. We then got another free drink. The best restaurant and especially the staff. Thank you for the amazing foodβ€οΈβ€οΈ??

β β β β β Amazing quick stop for lunch! Iβm gluten free and they offered both pasta and pizza to accommodate me. Harry both seated and served us and was a phenomenal waiter. Definitely will be returning!

β β β β β The food was delicious. We ordered fettuccine, pizza, and eggplants. Everything was delicious, we did not leave anything on the plate. The atmosphere and ambience of the site is also very pleasant and calm. The best was the attention and service of Rasel, who served us with all kindness (in English and Spanish). I would definitely go back.
