β β β β β Hard to find the rental desk at Catania airport. Hardly any signs to direct behind Terminal C. Booked through Cartrawler and was given Opel Corsa which later broke down and had to be replaced to Opel Crossland. Staff spoke limited English but it wasn't too much of an issue. Not worth buying road assistance as if the car breaks down beyond repair at the roadside it will be towed away and YOU will have to make your way back (somehow) to hire desk for replacement! MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE, TRIPLE CHECK the car for additional damage not marked on hire agreement before driving off! I had to report 6 additional scratches, cracks and dents! Also take photos of every corner of the car as well as fuel level.

β β β β β Π’he lady who is working on the desk as soon as we arrived began to sell us their insurance and that we were only safe when the total insurance we took over the site was as if we did not have it. Terrible, unprofessional and rude approach. Of course, it's not all that money, and why somebody would double the insurance? Then we are selling aids on the road of 15e just that we do not have any additional problems. We only agree to remove it from the door. Then the amount of the deposit is twice as low if we take their insurance. We are totally crazy with a child waiting and only 10 years old. We do not recommend this car rental agency.

β β β β β Everything went very smooth! Price was great, pick up - realy quick. We haven't got any problem with return. Car was new. After few days my money (600euro) was unblock form my credit card. Highly recommend!

β β β β β Their slogan is "Fast and easy". It should be "Slow and arrogant". They are rude and come acros as arrogant. You instantly feel that they try to (mis)sell you insurance coverage that you dont need. They "downgrade" you. The car you receive does not belong to the car group you booked. We booked a SUV (sport utility vehicle) and received a Fiat 500L - you can call Fiat 500L many thing but Sport? ? Having waited 60+ minutes in line you dont want to spent your time arguing with them ?. We were fourth in line when we got to the counter. It took more than 60 minutes before it was our turn - and they were two!

β β β β β I was 2hrs late for picking up my car. After a long waiting time at the counter I was told my reservation has been cancelled. The full amount is going to be charged anyhow.
I was told "My" car was given to someone else in the meantime.
*Which is lucky for them because they made another revenue with just one car that day.*
The only option they offered me was 3 times higher than originally (which should be paid on top). Not even an extra charge for the next highest category was possible for me to "rescue" my claim for the original booking.
I felt very ripped off due to this offer showed me they were still cars to rent.
So don't expect any goodwill at this company. There policies are very strict and hard-minded.
For future bookings I would definitely avoid Joyrent.

β β β β β Fine car, pretty good prices, but even though everything was sorted online we had to still wait quite some time for pickup. The were no lines and three desk-ladies. Of course they tried to change our booking to a different, more expensive car. In summary, nothing out of the ordinary. Would even use their services again since drop-off was good (we did have full insurance).

β β β β β I rented a car at Joyrent via SunnyCars and was very happy with the service. The desk is quite small compared to the bigger car rental companies, but there was almost no queue (there were very long queues for the more expensive companies). The staff was helpful and took their time to explain everything. We received the car within 15 minutes and the car matched our expectations.
The staff was professional and quick when we returned the car and they were not very strict during the inspection.
We had a carefree driving experience in Sicily with the services of Joyrent.

β β β β β Everything was OK, nice personal, if you are waiting on reception desk, call the number. Car was OK Citroen C1. Better to get fully insurance, you know, that's Italy. ?
