FRANK Autonoleggio took €400 deposit for the car without any intention to give it back. I've been trying to call and email but am not getting any answers. Going to be contacting EU authorities, this is plain rip-off." I had the exact same problem with my rental on MARSH 2022 (yeah they are still scamming people after so long). They took 519€ Deposit for the car without telling me the reason (we did no damage) for a 1 day rental. PLEASE AVOID THEM, THEY ARE FILTHY SCAMMERS I have no other choice to contact authorities as well. Response : We did a rental the Marsh 7th 2022 under my wife name "Khan Nathalie Kuofuiyu" On the Mini Countryman (plate FV479ST) You also told us we were paying for the insurance which obviously wasn't usefull. Please don't tell me we did big damages or anything because I have plenty of pictures of before/after rental to prove it. Also the fuel tank was litterally empty, I had to go fill it within the minute or I would be in trouble. There was an Orange sign (tire issue) on (is it even legal to rent a car with almost flat tires?) I am still waiting for your answer.
T	Truista Viajero on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No acaba de dar confianza, en la web pone que hay unos coches disponibles pero en oficina te dicen que no lo está, lo cambian por otro que te cuesta más caro y que está hecho un cristo. Te hacen firmar papeles pero no te dan ningún papel oficial (te dejan hacer una foto de lo que has firmado). El propietario se quita la mascarilla en los interiores y se la pone en os exteriores, vamos que el sitio lo tiene todo. Answer for the owner: You doubt about my word and it makes your service even worst. check my reviews and see that this is not my only review in rome in the same period. check in your registries for a red ford fiesta whitch has faults literally in all the pieces of the car (interiors and exteriors), a car that you are renting instead of citroen c1 witch you have in the web and that you rent more expensive than the citroen. check for a costumer that you gave a fully faulty car but still you kept their money for more than a week without explanation and without giving a paper to complain after if there is a problem. It can be that we where the only once that this happen, check in your registry that it is true. Or may be that you dont need to check it because you are sistematically doing this with every single tourist. But dont try to pretend that our renting was not real.

The next morning, when coming to the car, the back right window was broken into. The company had told us it was no problem and that we would be covered and NOT responsible for any of the damages if we got a police report. After getting the police report we were once again reassured that we would not be charged. After getting back to the states, my card was charged 1,777 dollars. We tried contacting them many times and had a relative in Rome call and even visit them several times. Each time they would tell her "the boss wasn't in." No one explained what the charges were for or showed proof of damage costs. Last time I checked, a broken window doesn't cost almost 2k. This company is just trying to scam tourists out of their money.
U	Usama Ahmed on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! I TRAVELLED FROM OVER 6000 MILES AWAY AND THEY CANCELLED MY RESERVATION FOR BEING 90 MINUTES LATE. The man made it clear he was upset that I had booked the car at such a low rate (on the company's website directly). He made me wait 30 minutes while he sold their last car RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME (to the guy behind me in line). I had to go to a different car rental agency in Roma Termini and pay 6 times the price for a last minute reservation. The man was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will be reporting this company to the AGCM on hopes they do not do this to anyone again. Do no book with these people.
S	Sophie Greenhow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a car with frank car rentals in Rome I was quite happy with their service because my previous booking was with hertz but they didn’t accept different credit cards from the one made from the booking and one employee form hertz toke me to frank car rentals and I was quite satisfied by their service especially from the owner Mr Frank he was a very professional and generous person that he gave us a car seat for free. Their cars are very clean, new and sanitized.
