L	Louise Black on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are residents of Italy and booked a car with our flight to Sicily for the weekend. When we went to get our car we were denied service. They would not accept our NATO license - even though we are licensed to drive in Italy and own a vehicle here. An unapologetic Luca would not give us a receipt to verify our refund either. The same thing happened to several other American families who flew in together and have previously rented cars without issue. Fortunately, we found another company who understood that we did not need an international license.

When I gave back the car I rant for a 2 weeks family holiday in July 2018 I was charged in August for additional 102.25 Euros for a scratch on one wheel rim, something I already judged excessive (see photos to judge by yourself) when I returned the car. But I was not yet shocked, no so much as I have been in November when I was additionally charged of 91.50 Euros for administrative fees (as per Europcar conditions) that are arbitrary set to this senseless price of additional 91.50 Euros. My rent went from initial 287 Euros to over 480 Euros!!! I strongly discourage to rent at Europcar, their policy is clearly written but their fees based on damage amount judgement are completely arbitrary chosen without caring so much about their customer. There are a lot of good local and international car rent company other than Europcar around in Catania and other airports, go for them! I used to be a returning customer and now I'll never go back to Europcar. I strongly discourage to rent at Europcar.
C	ClausD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you arrange your reservation ahead Catania Airport desk is perfect. To find the parking is a bit tricky but ask around. Prices are reasonable. Europcar is ok, we used their service in Spain, Morocco, Italy, Germany etc.
Y	Yoyi LS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More than 1 hour and a half waiting. We had an online booking, like most of customers and we had to wait more than an hour to get the car. If Europcar knows in advance that they are going to have more than 200 customers in one morning, they should have more attendants, not only 5. This is DEPLORABLE. DON'T BOOK YOUR CAR WITH THIS COMPANY!
T	T H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to pickup vehicle with Italian NATO drivers license and this installation states that they only accept international tourist licenses. Went to another Europcar facility 15 minutes away and they accepted the NATO Italian license. Was told by rep there to try another rental company there in the airport. There were several people there at the same time going through the same issue when I was there.
K	Karen Rautenberg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped off car here. Very smooth experience. Clear signage helped us find the lot. It’s tucked behind Sicily by Car. TAKE PICTURES of any damage BEFORE you drive away.

They offered me no compensation and no alternative. I was forced to book with a different company for double the price. Never again.
