β β β β β They scam you as soon as you arrive. Told me I would get a bigger vehicle without telling me I would have to pay for this and just quickly telling you to sign. Second, my friend who was with me made the reservation but I was the one driving: "sorry you have to pay as second driver because the reservation is not in the name of the driver... 157β¬ for this" and last but not least: they were joking in Italian and smiling because they knew they were scamming me. Their English was super poor and when you start arguing they tell you they don't understand what you're saying

β β β β β Angela & her colleague Ida were very helpful & efficient in sorting our late evening collection. Whilst we made the booking online, a rep from head office in Rome phoned to review details & unfortunately made some errors. Angela was very helpful in rectifying these issues to get us on the road as quick as possible.
Thanks for your diligence, would definitely recommend using Avis Bari Airport.

β β β β β On 23/07 I rented a car in this office (E984118951). The car was a Fiat Panda with more than 47.000 kms. On 29/07 the car broke down due to an engine problem.
Following AVIS instructions I took a taxi from my destination to the Bari Airport office where I was given a new car.
According to your information the cost of the Taxi would be refunded, but I am still waiting. Complaint 817C063 (02/08) unanswered.
The first car had the tank in half when it broke down and the second car had a full tank when I returned it but in the invoice there is a gasoline charge of 130β¬ (VAT not included) Complaint 8271421 (02/08) unanswered.
The right staff and care. The speed in delivery and return excellent.

β β β β β The WORST RENTAL CAR AGENZY!!! Please don't trust them, they are a scam! They always find something where can make you extra charge. EXTRA CHARGE I MEAN UP TO 300Β£. PLEASE AVOID THIS AGENZY FOR EXPERIENCE. EVEN MAGGIORE AGENZY IS IN SAME OFFICE BUT SAME S..T!
The staff are not friendly at all and try always to scam you. They are so in educated how to approach with customer support. They are laying all the time so BE CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE READY BOOKED A CAR WITH THIS 2 AGENZY. GO WITH OTHERS AGENZY! PLEASE!

β β β β β I had a reservation on 31-12-2021 for 2 months through my company that is one of Avis's largest accounts worldwide, and I was refused my rental because I did not have a local driver's license. How am I supposed to have a local license when I just arrived in Italy from the US? The laws states that I am allowed to driver on my International Driver's License for 1 year, and then I must gain a local license. She refused even after I showed her my International Driver's License. It cost me β¬190 for a taxi to Manfredonia. Other coworkers were rented vehicles from this location previously with no problems. I will inform Avis of this situation and inform my company to never use this location again. What a welcome into Italy on New Years Eve no less.
