★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum is such a great idea and absolutely worth a visit! It is really impressive what machines Archimedes could build so early in history. We paid 7 euros per adult and got our own guide who explained the machines and underlying principles and showed how to use them. The guide took as much time as we asked for, was relaxed and you could feel the enthusiasm of each member of the staff. They really love what they are doing! This museum was the highlight of Syracuse for us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic - I could not recommend this museum more. I was with my wife and 2 daughters (6 and 8) and the tour was exceptional - the machines are awesome, and the guide is among the best and more passionate I've ever had in my life. Go for it!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic experience. Well worth a visit to this wonderful museum that provides practical explanations with demonstrations of the discoveries and inventions of archimedes. Our guide Giovanna was excellent and explained clearly all of the concepts. It is a great experience for families and great value too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is pretty cool museum. Surprisingly it is my highlight for whole day in Syracuse(and we saw a lot there). Museum contains little bit of basic physics, some history of Archimedes and as a bonus we played a logic game. It's very interactive,it is outside and lady who guided us was perfect! She had fun with us, she was speaking perfectly English. There is one more museum in the city (Davinci Archimedes museum) and if I compare those two - This one is much better.
