A beautiful church of the 11th century AD. C., granted at the end of the sixteenth century to the guild of cordari. It was built over a Roman pool. Very nice to see the Church with the Roman pool below, the layering of history is clearly visible here.

Chiesetta davvero affascinante.
It is a small church of the eleventh century AD, it maintains, above the side portal, the coat of arms of the Cordari, to whom in the year 1577 it was granted, thus becoming a corporation church, also close to their site, the Grotta dei Cordari. The building was built on a rectangular Roman swimming pool, visible only from the outside. Really fascinating little church.
