★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are simple but you actually feel like spending most time in the hostel on the rooftop terrace, it has such lovely views. The staff are super friendly and helpful with figuring out how to get around Venice. x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the hostel is on another island, you can reach St. Mark's Square Mark in 15 minutes. Located in quiet area, just 5 minutes walk from the nearest grocery store, restaurants and vaporetto stop.
We’re accommodated in a spacious, clean room with private bathroom and towels. Kitchen is equipped with fridges, kettle, microwave and snack machines.
Hostel has a very lovely and big terrace with a view over Venice!
Staff was very helpful - advised us where to eat, how to get to the shop and printed our boarding passes.
I definitely recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The private room was clean and comfortable, with its own bathroom facilities. A great location on a small island south of the main Venice island. Fewer tourists by far, cheaper prices and much quieter. The WIFI didn't work in the room, but the incredible view from the rooftop terrace made my stay memorable.

Cheap, good location and friendly staff. Good view of Venice from the rooftop.
They offer a two hours free tour in Venice and the guide, Ola, was amazing!
However, we stayed in the ground floor and sometimes it was very noisy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t come here if you don’t want your room to swim in water. We had to put the blankets for covering because so much water entered in our room from a 30 minutes strong rain even though our windows were closed. There are some small insects in the room (ok, it is summer) but still not a nice feeling and mold on the walls. Yes, the reception is very friendly and the prices are good, but some stuff are really not acceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a 1 bedroom ensuite, bed was a single so a bit small since I'm a tall person and the shower was also pretty small too. Like most places there was no air conditioning either.
Other then those 3 negatives, wonderful place to stay, fantastic view offered by the terrace where you can chill with byo and the staff are extremely friendly.
Easy to get to from St marks square, one 18 minute ferry ride to the quieter part of Venice that the hostel is on and has a few restaurants to choose from as well, super market right outside the ferry too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent quality for what it costs. Had the twin room for a one night stay. It offers more than enough room for 2 persons, there are fans to cope with the heat and the private bathroom is a big plus. Nice staff as well with best English language skills I've seen in Italy so far. For people new to Venice: keep in mind that this hostel is located on the part of Venice only reachable by boat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't go here. I had the worst experience visiting "Sunny Terrace".
The rooms were dirty, there were insects everywhere crawling on the floor, very bad AC and worst of all - the rudest staff. One of them bullied me - called me fat and delusional. When I told the owner they did nothing. Ended up with "the bully" screaming at me and continuously insult me in the reception in front of other guests.
Ruined my entire experience of Venice.
