★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's no soap or so on the bathrooms, plus, there are just 9 WC's and 6 showers for 3 floors full of people, like rooms with 16 beds each. The beds are comfortable tho.
Many people had problems with keys stop working. And also we had to look for another bed since someone had choose to sleep in ours.
The view you get from outside is really good and beautiful, all Venice, although you need to consider that you must take a boat to get to that island or to Venice, which costs 7.5€ for 90 minutes or 21€ for the whole day, hence there is no way to get to it by walking.
The announce in the site of booking a breakfast to get it cheaper is a total lie (it costs the same here, and for 4.5€you get a croissant, a capuccino and a glass of juice, which separately I think would cost even less, the coffee costs in the same place 2€)
Most of the staff are friendly and kind :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Generator was great to host a big group of people! Unfortunately, the fact that the bathroom was not in the room and did not lock was a big let down. This allowed people to go in and out of the room too often during the night and sharing two small bathrooms with multiple big groups in the hostel was not the best. The Generator is very simple and you will have to pay for anything extra. Additoanlly, they would not allow outside food or drink in their dining room, even though their kitchen was closed to served one of larger groups there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extraordinary quality-price ratio, amazing position with beautiful view despite not being in the centre, super clean and with good furniture. Friendly and willing staff. The only thing I have to say is that maybe the renting of the locker and towels is a little to expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb accommodation .. way better than any budget hotel ... The setting, the public areas and the staff are all exceptional. You do need to catch a boat to get to the hotel as it's on an Island ... Hello it's Venice... But it's well worth the journey. Stay here - you won't regret it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hostel is located in the Giudecca Island. It is the perfect area for resting after tiny crowded center streets of Venice. Our room was clean, bed fresh. Hostel staff was friendly and helpful. A hall of the hostel is cozy. You may rent shower towels for €5. You should have your own lock to lock a box with your stuff or to buy a lock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Hostel with friendly staff. The vibe in the lobby and bar is nice and great place to have a drink. The bathrooms were clean and rooms were too.
The hostel doesn't have a kitchen or fridge for guest unfortunately, which I found weird for a hostel. Tough to keep your beer cold without it, maybe it encourages you to buy from the bar.. but was not a fan of that.
But overall good experience and I would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a recent built hostel, away from the fuss of San Marco's square - it feels like heaven. I’ve booked a private 3 dorm room, it was clean and simple - not even a table or a chair to leave our stuff at. The shower was clean, good but 0 amenities, you pay for everything. Breakfast is good and cheap. I’d come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb location overlooking St Marco! Enjoy the waterside sunsets and great decor in the lounge and bar areas. Friendly and helpful staff. The shower could have more pressure and the kitchen not open every day, but overall our stay was great. I’m a mum and 2 teen kids and we had a 5 dorm room to ourselves.
