Hotel Messner 3 Stars

Dont go there they Are very unfriendly. They took my money and didn’t return it and i slept in my car. They don’t even have a parking space u have to walk 35 min But They didn’t sayd that and They know that i have a little child. The parking close at 23:00 in venezia nobody Told as that.

Just looked at so many negative reviews here. I lived during Dec 2019. The rooms were a bit old but that's not a problem. I didn't have any problems sleeping there. I'm pretty sure there's breakfast too. The best part is the location which is right next to a canal.

The place is okay, nothing extravagant. Small, old rooms but decent services. I enjoyed the breakfast there, its not the biggest selection of food, but its just enough to find something that you'll enjoy and some nice coffee to start the day. Its a good place to stay in Venice if you don't want to spend lots of money on other fancier places.

This hotel is a catastrophe - the rooms are small, damp, with a nasty damp smell, moldy. And this is just the beginning: The rooms are *not* clean, you will find stuff under the beds. And you share the beds with BED BUGS! Too bad I cannot post the video. The bathrooms are very small, without windows. Breakfast was ok (despite the bad coffee) but dinner was awful (Potatoes without any seasoning with spinach etc).

BEDBUGS in the room!!! Even giving this “hotel” a one star review is an overstatement. The room price we paid was €150 for a tiny room that smells MOLD which makes it impossible to sleep in there!!! Smells like someone just died. The room the ceiling and floor is super dirty, the ac does not work, the bathroom is dirty. The worst hotel room I ever booked in my life. Do yourself a favor and find another decent place. Im returning now to the room thinking how am I gonna survive the night with that horrible smell in the room.

Dirty, full of bed bugs! After reporting the issue, the staff immediately started acting rude. They show no will to solve the problem or refund money. This place does not deserve even one star. They also mention Wi-Fi access, but surprisingly, it’s not working at all. The same goes for AC. I wouldn’t recommend the stay in Messner to anyone.

Hotel Messner appeared to be a nice, affordable hotel in a great location in Venice online. My girlfriend and I decided to stay at Hotel Messner because it featured a free gondola ride across the canal and free gym access to a gym just 100m away. Both of these were very important to us as I need to lift to stay in shape for my job and she wanted to experience the free gondola ride across the canal to get the full experience! Upon arrival we were given a free pass for the gondola and told where to go to access it. We went there and it was blocked off so we asked the front desk for help and they told us to go back and wait for somebody to pick us up. We went back and waited for 30 minutes and nobody came to pick us up! Confused and annoyed, we went back to the desk and the employee decided to take us to the dock to escort us because we obviously needed help. As it turns out, the gondola service was shut down and he had no clue! I expected them to reimburse us but instead they just said they were sorry and that there was nothing they could do. Next, we asked about the gym and they told us that they were no longer partnered with the gym! So I had to find a gym and spend 20 euros to workout for two days and they would not reimburse me even after asking! Additionally, restaurant staff was very rude and made the restaurant experience less than ideal. Do not believe everything they are telling you about this place because when you arrive you may not have all the accommodations they promised! Hotel rooms were small but clean and did the job. Front desk workers tried to be polite but did not know how. Overall, one of the worst experiences I have had with a hotel after they falsely advertised many aspects of the stay (including that it would be a 3 star experience) just to get us to stay there! If you’re a tourist looking for a complete experience in Venice and don’t appreciate being lied to, stay away from Hotel Messner!

We stayed in it with the three stars. Very small room and bathroom. We had to ask for hot water. The walls are thin like paper, you feel like you live in the same room with those who live next to you. The mattress on the bed is miserable, for a double bed they have joined two double mattresses. Every morning I wake up with pains in my waist and back. Not allowed for so much money. The breakfast service is rude. Do not give your money here. The only good thing is the location.
