T	Tim Lane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed to receive an indecipherable letter in Italian informing me that I had received a parking finem FOUR MONTHS AFTER THE HOLIDAY FINISHED! And received a 50 Euro handling fee from Sicily By Car! (plus VAT) So I have missed the deadline and I have no idea how to pay the fine!? There is no contact number to help me sort the problem out, so I won't use them again because although their price was good, the car was fine and I had no problem with the service other than it seemed overly time consuming, should something go wrong they are a real challenge. I suspect this car fine, when I have managed to find out how to pay, will end up costing me 150 Euros plus …. not happy
B	Beccy Martin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT GO HERE! JUST AS BAD AS SCAMMERS. Where do I start... We were given the wrong car, the car was dirty inside and out, we were charged extra and for things already included in our original booking and it was very clear what we were to be charged. No one took any responsibility and they have an overarching company called Europe Car Rentals and couldn't even get on to them properly. The car tank was a quarter empty and we made sure this was filled or they would charge us. When we confronted the guys at the main desk they ended up yelling at us and were very rude. They were also clearly being dodgy with the customers that were next to us! Save yourself your money, your time, everything and do not go here!!! Worse experience we had in Europe.
M	Mike H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please! Save yourself the massive headache and go anywhere else. We had the absolute worst customer experience. I read (accurate) warnings online but after I had already booked. If you can get out of your booking I strongly recommend it. The car we rented was given to us already running, we drove 1 hr away and then the first time the we tried to start the car it wouldn't start. We called between 20 and 40 times over the next couple days and received absolutely no help whatsoever. The resort we were at tried to call as well and got nowhere. The resort helped jump the car and we drove it straight back. The rental company charged us for the gas and refused any refund for those days. Moreover, months later, I received a fraudulent charge from the company which I am now fighting. Do not give them your business. If you have no other choice at this point, consider cancelling your credit card to protect yourself from fraud

P	P Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! Fraudulent company! Gave me a car with faulty tire and assured me they would exchange without charge. 5 weeks later my cc was charged $430 and now I have to go through tedious process to get this money back! Terrible customer service to begin with they barely spoke English and were rude. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE- listen to the reviews! Low rental price is not worth the headache! They should have 0 stars.
R	Robin Baron on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented a car for two days in this Florence agency and had to return it in Bologna because of a canceled flight. The agency manager assured us that it would cost a fixed price of 113€ for this return in a different city - we counted on trust at this level because there is no specific line for this in the rental agreement. In the end, we've been charged 303€, the agency manager is unreachable and the customer service sent us Terms & Conditions which indeed give Sicily By Car every rights if the car is not returned in the departure agency. Misinformation or dubious business practice? Unfortunately we'll never know because we couldn't reach anyone on the phone so far...
A	Anil Gashi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decisive suggestion from a person who has rented cars multiple time: DO NOT - DO NOT rent a cat at Sicily by Car in Florence Airport. I was reading many reviews before I decided to rent the car here, however, the limited options, and some good (rare) reviews convinced me to take it. First, the car was presented as mini-suv, but it was actually a Seat Arona, which in its best version cannot be more than a medium-size car, let alone a mini-suv. I needed assistance while being on the road, no one answered my calls. Very unprofessional, and extremely bad customer service. This company should be very embarrassed by itself . The goal of this company is to reap your wallet. More than two months after returning the car, I received a fine of 90 euros for parking. However, I needed to pay 65 euro to Sicily By Car, for handling the file. When I checked, handling the file meant to simply forward to me an e-mail from the municipality which fined me.
K	Kevin Gary on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The car I got was a Fiat Panda which was perfect for our needs in Tuscany. Large enough for us and our luggage but small enough to parallel park. Also good gas mileage. Staff was friendly and helpful even with the language barrier.
