Most horrible experience I have ever had with a company. Received my car in Siena, wasn't asked to inspect the car and looked relatively damage free, company spent 5 seconds looking at the car saying it "was good" to rent. Return the car in Florence, the man spent 5 minutes meticulously inspecting every inch of the car with gloves on. Found $400 in "damage" that I was forced to pay. Nothing you can do to fight it, I didn't mark this tiny little scratch, "clearly it was my fault". Lesson learned, rental car companies have no problem ripping you off, especially this company. Read the reviews, you have been warned. Have rented a car over 30 times in USA and twice before from Europa in Europe, never had any problems. This place legally scammed me, never again.

Do not rent from this place! This isn't like Enterprise/National/Alamo elsewhere. They turn up the odometer and charge you for extra kilometers unless it is unlimited allowance. There's no way for you to prove it with a before picture because the after odometer would have been tampered with.

Went here for my Enterprise car rental Place had only two workers, slow, didn’t speak English well. Cars are located behind the building in a garage. One worker here, took about 30 min to finally get me my car and keys ready. Car was in good conditions.

Total scam, they will charge you for non-existent damage upon vehicle return. 980 euro nightmare you'll have to fight with your credit card company. Do the research then find ANY other place to rent.

They do the typical car rental company's game: if you opt out of insurance, they make sure they find a scratch that they claim wasn't there before. Missing a scratch when taking over the car is pretty easy, because your car is freshly washed and still wet. And there are many on the car anyways. Avoid them if you can, or if there's no way to avoid them, take an HD video of every inch of your car before driving away. You got me Locauto, I didn't take a video, congratulations for your hard earned extra income! Last you had from me.

I rented a car in advance with Alamo (Expedia) and getting to Florence and reading some of the bad reviews I was not sure what to expect. I had a great experience overall and everything was great. Friendly staff, quick car pick-up, helpful instructions and great flexibility to drop the car off in Rome after hours later that day (via lockbox in secure parking lot). The car was exactly the one I ordered (Audi Wagon) and very clean. I declined the additional insurance coverage (my credit card covered it), and only extra charge I opted in for was roadside assistance option for €3 extra. The few dents on the car had previously been identified before I rented the car. Still recommend taking videos before & after and check car carefully to avoid surprises. There were no surprises or extra charges when I reveived the bill via email the next AM. Overall a great & painless car rental experience!

WARNING - Do not rent . This company has a history of cheating customers. Before taking the car out they rush through the inspection process so you don’t get a chance to take a look at the car more closely. We had a brand new car that was rented to us. Upon returning within 10 seconds the guy found a β€œscratch” on the roof of the car that wasn’t there before and there was no evidence of anything ever being placed on top of the car as the area around the car was still dust. For a 5mm β€œscratch” they charged us 300 euros telling us that we can file a claim through our credit card insurance. People who work there are very cunning and they know that it’s only the tourists who are dumb enough to fall for this and they are making money off this. Looking at all of the reviews before us, this is a recurring issue and we wish we read the reviews more closely before renting. I wish officials take notice of these reviews and ban companies like this from doing business
