Horrible Company and Awful Service. Reserved a car and was charged. The next day on the way to the airport we called to see why we didnt get a confirmation email and they said there was no reservation booked. We were also charged by Sixt after booking through the leasys site. We were also notified that they used to be Sixt affiliates. Reporting this as fraud to AMEX. Stay away from this trash.

I'm writing here because I don't know what to do more.. I've rented a car in Palermo Airport in Sicily. I've checked terms and conditions twice, all reviews even three times and decided to rent a car from Winrent. I had a really nice experience while collecting a car, the car was nice and clean, except for not working air condition but I'm not the type of demanding client. I paid for a SUPER COVER and there was no information about any additional cover on the website or while collecting the car. The lady from Winrent told me that it is everything I can do to be safe in case of any additional payments and situations. Unfortunately, during my 5th day of rent I got a flat tire and in Toyota Aygo there was no spare tire and any way to get to the Palermo to fix or change the car. On the phone, lady told me that I need to call assistance and they will take me and the car and I need to take receipt with me to the replacement as I have a SUPER COVER. I did it, left the car at the service point and get by myself to the airport. Lovely lady Sabina said that she doesn't have a car but at the end she found something for me to replace and I was able to come back to the hotel. She said that I have SUPER COVER so I don't need to worry about anything and there won't be any cost of that I was sorry that no one from the infoline helped me to get to her. After 3 days I left the replacement car and ask if she needs anything, what about the deposit and so on and she said that everything is fine. I was very happy with that and even more surprised when I got deposit back next working day. I was about to write here the best opinion I could because I appreciate well-done job and service but today, after 2 days I got two emails: 1) from "damage' with information that Winrent is sorry but SUPER COVER doesn't covers truck service even if there was no other way to bring the car back without a spare tire and they will give 132 EURO from my credit card, 2) from customer service with an invoice for "miscellaneous" 110 EURO ????? and I've no deal what is it? and refueling 18 EURO, gasoline 53 EURO which is obvious because when the flat tire occurs there is no option to refuel a car as the situation is not planned and car supposed to be refueled before giving it back. Price without taxes so add VAT.. TOTAL 221 EURO. The only thing I should pay for and totally agree with is refueling of the gasoline. I will skip the fact that that lady at Palermo Airport didn't tell me that when I asked but ok. I just totally don't understand this additional cost where everything was covered and two different emails about the cost of "miscellaneous" ? and email about the cost of truck service? What to do in this case? If there is any way to explain it? I really hope that someone efficient and competent will contact me here on through email and decrease all this additional cost to the minimum! I still believe that there is a way to end this cooperation as humans, positively and without any remarks or prejudices!! I am waiting for contact from Winrent and in case of lack of contact and solving the case from Winrent please SOMEONE advise me what to do in that case and where should I write to get money back. The worst rental car ever! Do not book a car with them. I had a booking and our flight was 3 hours late. Previously during the booking they had all of our information even the flight number as well. Tried to call them already when they announced the flight will be late. Of course nobody answered the phone. When we arrived late and super tired we faced the Winrent was closed and nobody waited for us. We are still waiting for the refund. Thankfully to Europcar we had a car right away.

Rented a Citroen C3 from them. A little more expensive than other local providers but well worth it for their reputation. I didn't want to get scammed. The check out was quick and I had no complaints with the car. Return was easy and they refunded my deposit in full even though the car was covered in mud. Highly recommended.

We rented a car from Leasys at the beginning of June. Pick up was fast and easy - there was no queue. The car was clean and almost new. We experienced no problems with the car nor with the renting company. Return also was fast as luckily the Lady from the office was present at the parking, so she checked the car quickly, signed the paperwork and we did not have to check in at the office. The deposit was fully returned and since we had no trouble. We did not take the full insurance, yet, in hindsight, seeing how some Sicilians drive, it might have been a good idea ;)

The car failed to show the tank was fully full of gas. He let us go back to a gas station for 1 euro of gas after we showed a receipt of 5 minutes before. Bad service.

We had a flat tire with the car. It was quite complicated to get assistance and a replacement car. That was beginning of October. 2 Month later I am still waiting for the refund of the taxi. It seems that customer service is in winter sleep...

Worst service to date after having used hundreds of rental companies. Car was not sanitised with visible dirt inside upon pickup, when we pointed this out, no action was taken. When the car was returned, we were not given any documentation to let us know all was OK, as the car was not spotless on the outside (bear in mind there's been floods all over Sicily recently with various off-road diversions, and the car had already been washed twice). When asked for our original contract to be signed off, Lillo (employee) shouted at us, assuming that we damaged the car, hence asking for such documents... something that I'm still baffled to believe with no proof or physical evidence to back up his accusation. DO NOT use this company - instead of being offered an apology, we were accused of damages that did not take place, and were just told "to use another company" in future... Advice I'd ask any reader to take into account.
