F	FranzD89 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suggestiva per la locazione della Chiesa divenuta famosa per essere la Chiesa di Don Matteo (solo nella fiction, nella realtà viene usata solo per l'esterno) Uno dei luoghi più belli di Gubbio poiché dal piazzale si possono vedere il palazzo dei Consoli e la Chiesa di Sant'Ubaldo sul Monte Ingino. Consigliata la visita in qualsiasi giorno dell'anno, preferibilmente d'inverno con la neve e le luci colorate che addobbano la piazza a creare un'atmosfera unica. Suggestive for the location of the Church which became famous for being the Church of Don Matteo (only in fiction, in reality it is used only for the outside) One of the most beautiful places in Gubbio since from the square you can see the Palazzo dei Consoli and the Church of Sant'Ubaldo on Monte Ingino. The visit is recommended in any day of the year, preferably in winter with the snow and the colored lights that decorate the square to create a unique atmosphere.

La chiesa è stata il set delle prime edizioni della serie Don Matteo con Terence Hill One of the splendid churches of Gubbio, obviously from the medieval period. The steps of its entrance overlooks the homonymous square, restored by the grade GAE AULENTI, which created a pleasant contrast between ancient and modern, rich in symbolism and correspondence. M	Marta Cappannari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nonostante non sia una chiesa molto particolare è diventata famosa perché ci hanno girato le scene esterne della fiction di Don Matteo (invece per gli interni hanno usato la più intima chiesa di Ssn Marziale). All interno ho trovato molto bella la cappella di San Giovanni Battista,completamente affrescata. Per il resto è una chiesa abbastanza anonima ma l'abbiamo trovata aperta quindi siamo entrati. Inside I found the chapel of San Giovanni Battista very beautiful, completely frescoed. For the rest it is a fairly anonymous church but we found it open so we went inside.

Internamente è a navata unica sormontata da capriate lignee. A	Anna Maria Polverino on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa si affaccia su una piazzetta vicinissima a via della Repubblica: è ben nota perché era stata scelta come parrocchia di don Matteo nella famosa fiction televisiva. Solo l'esterno è quello visto tante volte in tv con la sua facciata in stile gotico (alla quale si accede da una piccola gradinata), fiancheggiata da un massiccio campanile romanico. L'interno è completamente diverso perché naturalmente le scene non sono state girate qui. È comunque molto bello nella sua semplicità: è costituito da una sola navata con abside quadrata. Vi si possono ammirare solo piccoli resti degli originari affreschi. Vale la pena farvi sosta.
