β β β β β Stay away. The budget/Avis car rental at Naples international airport worst car rental counter I have ever been to. In the world. Yes, really. Stay away. Added fees. Out of cars. 4x more expensive than quoted. Terrible and rude service. Closes at 1130pm. Just a scam service from what Iβve experienced. Rent st the hertz instead or from rome. Or just anywhere else. ?

β β β β β Scam practices on additional fees. Be aware when you sign the contract. When going over the contract, what the agent circle and what he says is different. We both listen to the agent that specially mentioned that we didn't purchase any additional options and he still selected accident insurances, full tank refill and additional options that they couldn't even justified once asked what it is. It's not a language barrier, the agent perfectly did it on purpose. When he heard us reporting this scam to another agent, he didn't seem surprised at all.

If you don't buy their cover (I had an alternative cheaper cover) the will try and "stick" pre-existing damages to you.
I took a video of the car at the night I picked it up, and kept it in perfect condition during my week.
Still, when I returned the car, they tried to make me pay for a damage I was not responsible for. Luckily I had videoed most of the scratches and bumps , yet still, managed to find a tiny break in a side mirror I did not do.
What a nasty way to end a wonderful holiday. I have rented dozens of cars and had never received such a disgraceful service.
Even though I am covered there is nothing worse than being called a liar.
SHAME.

A car bumped into the rear of our car. Not our fault. We have accident declaration form, witness declaration, etc and they took our money ! 1,000 euros + 22% tax. 7 weeks later, no update. No news. Really unprofessional!
More than 3 months later, still no news from this unprofessional rental company. Not only you need to wait 45 minutes on the phone to get one of their agents, but also nothing has changed. The money has not been refunded. The final invoice is also incorrect. Never never use them ! Should I seek legal advice?

β β β β β Worst experience ever. I took the car with an another company rentalcars.com and as per agreement amount of deposit is 100β¬. First they wanted to charge 149β¬ which they later declined because I did not have a credit card. Later, they accepted revolut which is still not a credit card and the new deposit got raised to 171β¬. Not mentioning about the accidents which I am not responsible and they charge 900β¬ in the endβ¦ Do not rent from Budget.
