We prebooked and paid beforehand. We arrived at 23:30 but no one was there so we had to book another car at sicily by car (highly recommended).
Then the next day the booked car wanst there and they gave us for 100 Euro Plus anotherone.
Total Scam worst service. Never again Europcar....?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good prices but very bad customer service. You are only a number. Only interested in getting as much money out of you as they can. Always check your car when you collect it, as they never mark down all the damage , so when you return the car they bill you for it. Take photos when you collect and when you return the car

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Utter chaos... 2019 - even in Southern Italy - shouldn’t be like this.
You exit the airport through the construction zone and take the shuttle bus to the car rental place. Turns out it is probably quicker to walk since there were two bus-loads ahead of us. The driver was really nice so that’s a plus.
You get to the car rental place and you can’t get in because there are so many people. For whatever reason, Europcar is the most popular because Avis and others didn’t have much of a queue. So now we’re all milling around because there’s no queue. I finally figure out that there’s a kiosk (surrounded by people) where you enter your reservation number and that gets you on the list to be served. If you have Europcar Priority, you might be expedited slightly. I did and I think I jumped ahead but not sure really. Then when you get to the front, they offered me an upgrade (an E class Mercedes for EUR80/day - nope) and then tried to fob me off with a Fiat 500. You’re ******* kidding me right? It was booked as a Renault Clio and you’re not going to tell me that they’re the same size. After saying as much, a Clio miraculously turned up. Then comes the insurance upsell: “you have no coverage” Me: “I’m pretty sure it was booked with full coverage” Them: “But that is through Expedia not us” Whatever. Then in the lot, despite the extra paint marks on the car I decided to risk it because it would be another 10 minutes in the sweltering heat and humidity for someone to take a look and adjust the rental document.
Summary: Avoid. Sixt is actually located at the airport and seems to be no more expensive and rents BMWs. While waiting for the bus I was seriously considering just making a booking with them and calling it quits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor Poor Poor in all senses... Bad service, cars damaged to pick it up and the van to drive you back was just not working, so you have to come back walking (20’). On top their online service replies to you in Italian, no matter the language you speak, so impossible to make a good deal. No dont recomend at all

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't go there, not worth the extra money and does not meet other Europcar standards: gave me an even smaller car than I paid for even though I am a privilege member and should get a free upgrade. Didn't even show us where the car is hidden outside (slot numbers are posted in a stupid way). She only tried to sell us extras and when we didnt't take them she was absolutely desinterested and made not even an effort in being friendly anymore. Car was not really great. Fazit:
other rentals are cheaper and have the same bad service but at least you don't pay more.

If this is only the case of Napoli rental office, so be it, but I am not EVER using Europcar again.
Non existent customer service. Impossible to have a call with anybody. Nobody is picking up. Week went by and we haven't seen the deposit back (ca 300 EUR). We got a car with non-functioning fifth and sixth gear. Filthy inside. Please do not use their servies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the worst rent a car I used in my life. They were not helpful, difficult to contact them and the worst of all is that I had a parking fine (which I paid immediately the same day and sent the receipts to the europcar company, they told me that they had no knowledge of the fine). however, 4 months later they are charging me €50 approx for administrative expenses of the fine, which had already been paid instantly. And the answer I received is: we cannot know if a client pays the fine or not, that's why we charge it. Being that I send the vouchers the same day. Honestly, I don't recommend it at all.
