Absolute scam. Gave me a car with some very minor scratches and then blamed me for them and took my money. I have pictures of all of this before I set foot in the car. And withnesses, since I was not travelling alone. They still stole my money. Make sure you don't sign anything untill you see the car and DO NOT accept any car that is not perfect. You will pay for it!

They have gone mad at Sixt in Naples, last year I rented a BMW 3 series automatic transmission for € 1500 including no risk and all costs. Today I wanted to make a reservation for the same period this year, I was shocked, more than € 5100. I know that everything has become more expensive and I also expected a higher price, but more than 250% increase is absurd. It is ridiculously expensive throughout Italy, if you rent the same car in Germany or Austria, for example, you pay the normal expected price. We are not going to Italy this year.

We were waiting more than 1 hour to receive the car. When we went to pick up the car they told us (Irene)that the car was in the "Wash car" and that we should wait a bit. We were waiting for more 1 hour and the car did not arrive. They had us waiting standing up with the luggages in the parking with any explanaciΓ³n. Very bad service and horrible treat to the Customer... not aceptable for the price that we pay (more than 200€ per day)

Easy order, easy pick up, little use, easy return. Friendly lady assisting with pick up. 1 Day prior return got friendly phonecall from Sixt not to forget returning the car. Car was clean and nice to drive. Got an automatic gear on request without additional costs. Good experience with Sixt Napoli airport?

Great experience with this Sixt branch! Car was amazing and very worth the money. Service was excellent. No problem at all during the check-out and the check-in. Highly recommended.

We are regular clients from Sixt in Europe and we had the worst experience with their agency at the Naples airport. The guy at the counter was such a liar that he told us that the car we rented online (BMW 118d series) was not available, he even gave a fake call to pretend that the car was not yet ready (45 min cleaning allegedly needed), so he could charge us three times what we paid online with an alternative car. When we finally agreed to take the only alternative he offered us, paid a crazy amount as a deposit (3000€) and got to the carpark to pickup the alternative car, we found out that the BMW 118d series was right there and his colleague confirmed that it had been cleaned and ready to be picked up and to go for a while. We got back to the counter asking for refund and for the keys of this very car we ordered online and saw in the carpark. The guy kept lying, telling us he has just given it to someone else (which was not true - we were alone in the car park 10 minutes later and the car was still there) This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it is a shame for Sixt and more generally for the rental industry in Italy. I hope this review will help avoid this to happen again as you cannot build any trust and customer relationship acting like this.

Poor experience. They didn't really respect the vehicle I have booked giving me a higher one which was less fuel efficient and less dynamic to drive. However the category was respected but that is not the first time Sixt change drastically my vehicle in comparison to the fleet. So I have asked something similar to a Golf and guess what, I had to pay. I have never seen that since it's not my fault if they give me an ugly and fat car. The vehicle was full of scratches which weren't described at the check-in. And guess what? Sixt advised me to take photos of these scratches and send them on a specific mail from Sixt. Is it a joke? I'm in Italy, in roaming and I must send those photos by mail using an important amount of data. That's not my job folks. Of course nobody answers your mails because they must be too occupied to correctly review the car before a new client arrives. And if you give back the car before 10 am, there's nobody to do the checkout and confirm any potential damage. So the bill will be for you a surprise on arrival. Moreover the vehicle had a default on driver's side which made the car very uncomfortable to drive. Last thing, 34 euros PER DAY for a full cover insurance is way too expensive. And Sixt adjust constantly their prices so don't book too early. Finally Sixt has good reputation in Italy just because other rental companies have terrific reputations. But I'm not OK to give Sixt a good review because they do just the minimum for their clients.
