I did not know that the emperor Maxentius ... whom CONSTANTINE defeated in Puente Milvio ... also had his hot springs on the Palatine Hill in front of the MAXIMUM CIRCUS ... the truth is that this emperor, without being one of the best known, left quite a few constructions in the ETERNAL CITY / SPQR ... ciao amici Centurion Primus Pilus???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thermes peu impressionnants hormis la façade aperçue depuis le Stade Palatin, mais vue remarquable depuis les hauteurs. Certains vestiges sont remarquablement bien préservés et permettent de s'offrir un aperçu de l'architecture intérieure de l'époque, particulièrement au niveau des voûtes. Les thermes de Caracalla sont certainement ceux à recommander si vous voulez vous offrir une meilleure vision des bains de l'époque.
Unimpressive thermal baths apart from the facade seen from the Palatine Stadium, but remarkable sight from the heights. Certain vestiges are remarkably well preserved and allow to offer a glimpse of the interior architecture of the time, particularly at the level of the vaults. The Baths of Caracalla are certainly the ones to recommend if you want to have a better view of the baths of the time.
