★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breathtaking, incredible and more. The experience of turning the corner in a city street and seeing this monument at the end of the block it’s hard to explain. Definitely recommend going early in the morning and joining a tour. There is so much information and history and it’s great to have a local guide. I would also recommend doing the full tour - Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill together

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a tour which included the arena, Forum, and Palatine Hill.
Amazing experience. I highly recommend purchasing a ticket or tour that includes the Arena. Being able to stand and see the vantage point the gladiators had is surreal.
I underestimated just how much there is to here - there are several museums in the park as well. Would be easy to spend the whole day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its got to be a must go if your in Rome one of the most famous places in the world. Id recommend an audio guided tour the one we had was really good and informative. This place can not really be described in works you just need to go see it, and see the rooms and where the lions and animals were held

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the Colosseum so it is always going to be a "must-see" place for visitors in Roma. The facilities for the visitors have improved quite a bit over time and the panels with explanations about life during the Roman Empire (and beyond) are very informative. There is good signage all around and the platform with access to the arena is a great feature. Easily accessible through the subway, I highly recommend buying tickets in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great tour! Dennis was very knowledgeable about everything - even his dinner suggestions! We saw the palatine hill, Roman forum, and the coliseum. He really helped give us a great understanding of the history and even had illustrations of what the sites would have looked like in their full glory. 10/10 recommend - ask for Dennis!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place worth visiting once in a lifetime. feels like going back 3000 years ago. very well maintained, and they do cool program for tourism. Buy tickets online to save time. Tickets can enter 3 locations close to each other, suitable for spending 1 day to visit and enjoy. marvel at the construction and design capabilities of the roman civilization. I'm not really happy about what happened here, in the past, but I have a lot of respect for history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great piece of history from the ancient Roman Empire. Highly recommend to use a tour guide as they will get you to the front of the queues and will give history as well. You should definitely stop in here if your are in Rome. I have been twice and still am in awe when I go. Out of season is best if you can do it less crowds and not hot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place. It seems that you are inside a history book. There is a lot of information behind this monument that it really worth to book a guided tour as they will tell you the whole history behind it and also share details about the architecture, events that used to happen in the colosseum, gladiators among other important information related to all Rome Empires! I also went to Palatine and Roman Forum that is also a great visit. One recommendation is to take with you a bottle of water (there are fresh water fountains at the Platinum) and use comfortable shoes and clothes. I was there in April and it was about 24 Celsius degrees and it can be much hotter depending on the season.
