★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing truffle pasta. Zero fish and not so many starters. Not for vegetarians. I wanted to rate it 4 stars, but I asked 3 times to order a taxi for me because I hurt my leg and I don’t know Italian, but they said “no”. Very bad service

We ordered the typical pasta of the city (orecchiette) and considering the prices they charge we found much better dishes in so.pler restaurants around Matera. The atmosphere is good and the waitresses are kind and efficient. The place is clean and we'll designed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic restaurant, no munch of traditional decoration inside, you might actually not notice you are in Matera, pity. Food is of good quality, although I wonder where the hunt for "sexier" dishes is really worth it. Price for the money, you can problaby enjoy pretty the same food in town for a cheaper price and I suppose also get bigger portions.

Nico is really an excellent chef and you simply MUST try the amazing ravioli he makes with lemon and codfish. It’s so unique and utterly DELICIOUS!
Fabiola gives you the most wonderful warm welcome and service too!
If you’re in Matera and want to eat authentically in the Sassi - this is the place for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to have lunch, the terrace is very nice just in the center of the Sassi. The food was great and the service was super nice, they also explained us the different dishes. We recommend the antipasto (very complete) and the pasta. They also have craft beer from Matera, which was really good. 100% recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Orecchiette with ceci and "salsiccia del pezzente" is very good. Staff are super friendly. Nice outdoor sitting area. And the local bread was fantastic. The dessert is not too bad.
