★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, good service. It's towards the quieter side of town, so keep an eye out for it. A good sized restaurant with a very decent menu selection. We wanted to order everything. We did end up over ordering and had to take a lot of it away, which was still yum the morning after.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The highlight of our trip was having dinner at this place! I can't recommend it enough. It's all fresh and delicious. With the starters we were almost full. Good prices and friendly service. Definitely spend one of your evenings here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical restaurant in Matera with the possibility to have your dinne inside the cave "grotta". Recipes and plates are from the tradition but with a glamour touch or sophisticated changes.
Price are good and aligned with the expectation and the quality of the offer.
The service is good, except for some junior waitresses/waiters, maybe too young to interact easily with foreign clients (ie. no idea about how to explain a plate)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot, the service was friendly, the food was good, and the location and atmosphere was fantastic.
The zucchini salad was tremendous, I liked the wild boar, the cheesecake was forgettable.
The wine was good but not mind blowing.
Overall I’d say it’s worth a visit, but I won’t be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinner here was just warm and homey. The pastas - both the cavatelli and the burrata ravioli were splendid, bursting with flavour, earthiness and fresh ingredients. Truly down home cooking. The stewed boar was just perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth. We were too full for dessert. Excellent dinner.
