Solo il fatto che sia potuto accadere a causa di una tragedia naturale limita l’entusiasmo di poter ammirare edifici di epoca romana così ben conservati. E’ un’occasione unica per capire quella civiltà e la vita di quelle genti. Abbiamo ora la grande responsabilità di tutelare questo grande patrimonio di conoscenza.
