★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dieser Bereich der antiken Ruinen zeigt sehr anschaulich, wie eine Bäckerei im alten Pompeij ausgesehen hat. Neben dem gut erhaltenen Backofen, sind die gleich daneben stehenden Getreidemühlen besonders beeindruckend. Derzeit kann man nicht innerhalb des Geländes laufen. Das ist aber nicht notwendig, denn der Blick von außen in die antike Bäckerei genügt, um sich ein super Bild zu machen. Außerdem wird damit der Bereich vor herumtrampelnden Touristen verschont. Ansonsten war es in Zeiten von Corona ein Vorteil, dass man Pompeij ohne Touristenmassen bestaunen konnte.
This area of ancient ruins shows very clearly what a bakery looked like in ancient Pompeii. In addition to the well-preserved oven, the flour mills right next to it are particularly impressive. It is currently not possible to walk within the premises. But that is not necessary, because the outside view of the antique bakery is enough to get a great picture. In addition, the area is spared from trampling tourists. Otherwise, in times of Corona it was an advantage that you could marvel at Pompeij without the tourist crowds.
