Beautiful houses ... very worn by time but with a lot of charm ... in the Jewish quarter and with a lot of restaurants in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ היה מוזר לשמוע כל כך הרבה עברית במקום אחד. הבית כנסת מאוד מרשים ומזכיר כניסיות בעיצוב שלו. מומלץ לקרא קצת היסטוריה לפני ההגעה למקום במידה ולא לוקחים סיור. אני הגעתי בשבת כך שלא היו סיורים וגם אסור היה לצלם.
It was strange to hear so much Hebrew in one place. The synagogue is very impressive and reminiscent of churches in its design. It is recommended to read some history before arriving at the place if you are not taking a tour. I arrived on Saturday so there were no tours and also no photography was allowed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bonito y con encanto la fachada parece que se va a caer pero está reformado. Si estás por la zona merece acercarse y observarlo. Totalmente recomendado. Todo en Roma está recomendado es increíble lo bonito y diferente que es todo la combinación y simbiosis de lo nuevo y lo antiguo. Bravo.
Nice and charming the facade seems to be falling but it is renovated. If you are in the area deserve to approach and observe it. Fully recommended. Everything in Rome is recommended is amazing how beautiful and different the combination and symbiosis of the new and the old is. Bravo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely square on the Jewish quarter there are lots of Jewish inspired restaurants. Enjoy the deep fried artichoke.Please like if you found my review helpful thanks. I'm not sure how much of the artichoke you are meant to eat but it was razor sharp in my throat.

"At the time when the city of Rome was reborn in its ancient form, Lorenzo Manili, for love of his homeland, near the forum of the Jews, for himself and for his descendants, built up from its foundations this house, which bears the name manliana, at least within the limits allowed by his mediocre wealth. 2221 years after the founding Rome, at the age of 50 years, 3 months and 2 days, he built this house on the eleventh day before the beginning of August."
P.S. seems that Lorenzo Manili was a humble man?
