★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit! If you are in Lucca, do make the effort to head to Bistro Piqui. The location is wonderful being a few steps away from the Guinigi Tower. The service is super friendly and helpful, with Imma and Ivana making you feel at home. All products are the best the locality has to offer. Delicious food and fantastic wines - all well priced. Cannot recommend highly enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here for an espresso one morning and the atmosphere and staff were so friendly (as are the coffees and fresh squeezed orange juice) that we came back for lunch.
Pina and Christian are wonderful and both so genuine. Pina has a smile that lights up the world. And Christian is studying to be a sommelier. He is so informative and helpful and gave us so many great suggestions.
Their food is fantastic and so fresh. We had their traditional Lucca soup and a salad with grilled chicken. They have a wonderful wine list....and the prices are incredibly reasonable.
This is truly a special place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite overpriced for what it is... A mediterranean okish salad with quite boring ingredients. Small, dry and sparsely covered Bruschetta. And prices that range twice above their real value. Supposedly fresh orange juice suspiciously lacking pulp & tasting like from the box...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Family and I visit the beautiful city. We went into a situation where my kids need a toilet and I ask to use the toilet in this restaurant and pay for the use. The girl at the desk do not allow it to us. This is not service orientated! I ask two times in a very polite way. The third time the girl at the desk ignored me. This was a situation I never saw in a county where people usually love kids. Shame on your service personal to leave a dad with two kids which need get only to pee for 2 minutes, in such a situation. ( I guess every person with kids knows what I mean) We went to the next restaurant and they allowed us to use the toilet which takes only 2 minutes without any charge to us. Service looks different to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a beautiful place to eat local food and they have a lot of local options (including coffee). The food was amazing and I’ve to recommend the soup, it was delicious. Also they have a dessert made with greens and it’s combination was perfect. We will be back, thanks.
