★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the sea bream and it was prepared and presented to perfection in every way. The flavours blend in a perfect way without One overshadowing the others. Excellent and prompt service, offering us a table without reservation even though the place was fully booked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem of a restaurant in Lucca, located just outside the old Roman amphitheatre and away from most tourists (except us!). The food, wine and service was excellent - and not at all overpriced. If you're in Lucca, make sure you find Canuleia.

Friendly efficient staff who let us in even if lunch-time was about to end. Their take on tiramisu was amazing and the backyard is nice, quiet and shaded. Perfect lunch spot during hot days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great dining experience at this wonderful family restaurant. Service is the best, ambience is incredible, and the food is wonderfully Tuscan. Consistently awesome in over 10 years of dining experiences at this lovely restaurant. A must visit when you are the old historic city of Lucca.

We sat outside in the garden which was lovely.
We had the meat and cheese appetiser followed by the meat ravioli and cheese,bacons and onion tortelli.
The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. It took 5 minutes for someone to come ask us for drinks and even once ordered 10 minutes for our wine to arrive.
The meal was very reasonably priced however and a bottle of wine, an app to share and two mains was c.€75
