★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is just ok, the service is good but it's really overpriced. 150g of simply grilled vegetable 12 euro. 2 eggs with a drop of tartuffo oil 12 euro. May works for tourists but don't expect locals here.

Just dropped in despite low ratings.
Interesting menu- and wine card. Tomato soup with basil sorbet, black truffle pasta and tiramisu was absolutely top class!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It scared me when I saw the low ratings. Then I noticed they are very old and not the new Antica Osteria which will soon get higher ratings.
Go now before it is discovered and gets too crowded.
In addition to myself, I know quite a few people who have been there for aperitivo, lunch and/or dinner. It's unanimous, this place is terrific and a treasure.
From the exceptionally courteous and professional staff, to a wonderful selection of drinks, to the beautifully presented and distinctive food, you cannot miss here.
The prices are right in line with Lucca demands. Very fair and a good bargain.
(I would have rated it 5 stars, but it's new needs some time to get there. )

Stuff was amazing. Probably one of the best restaurants from our whole trip from Italy. The place is amazing as well, nice ambiance. The desert was to die for definitely leave room to try. My wife was amazed and its hard to impress her :)
