β β β β β I had such a nice experience. Roberta was so helpful with us. We rent a car without a credit card (we used a debit card). They did not ask us any deposit, only 70 eur for fuel, but if you return the car with full fuel they give you back the money . For 5 days we paid 645 eur.
I highly recommend, especially Roberts who offered us a premium customer support.

β β β β β One of the best experience I had with a car rental. Deborah was really helpful with us and really flexible (we had to change the hours of departure and the day of return). She spoke a perfect french to help us in our request. It was also really quick to get the car.

β β β β β Well, not what I was expecting at all, I arrived and got the car and paid for all of the insurance and theft insurance and everything because Iβm not paying for a β¬8000 stolen refund. Overall we waited just 5 mins for the rental to be done, they told me about the damages which were minor and then I took some pictures and then we left. Expecting a β¬100 euro cost, turned out to be β¬135 when we left! On return we had damaged the car and the guy just laughed and said thatβs why you bought insurance so donβt worry about it and thatβs it, could not have been happier! . I will never rent a car in europe again. Cheaper to buy a cheap car and drive it here!

β β β β β Thirsty "Thrifty" & It hurts "Hertz" probably the most disorganised car rental kiosk I have ever waited for. Whilst the other car rental desks, quickly churned through the "cattle" waiting; Hertz and Thrifty were running around like headless chickens. With a ticket system that doesn't make any sense and over an hour and a half of waiting we supposedly have another 14 people ahead of us. Possibly another hour ahead of us. I would suggest using Europcar or one of the smaller companies if you wish to rent a car from here!

β β β β β Car rental itself went fine. After I turned the car in they confirmed that there was no damage and no additional charges. A week later they charged me a damage fee. The can't explain what the damage was (because there was none).
Recommend that you take pictures of car and video the inspection. These people have no problem with committing fraud.

β β β β β Great experience with Hertz. On the check in we requested (if possible) a Fiat 500 and they surprised us with Fiat 500 cabrio. It was the best car for a trip in Amalfi Coast. Special thanks for the lady (I didnt remember her name, sorry) on the counter and Rosario for the great pickup and dropoff support.

I sent an email last week but got no answer.
As I read plenty of issues with car rentals in Italy, I want to be sure there is no bad surprise.
Can you confirm there is no issue with a Visa Premier card, as below ?
It is written Credit on it, but still considered as a Debit one by car renters.
Figures and name are not embossed (brand new card with better security).
Can you also confirm you do not force to take a supercover insurance (with the card described above) ?
