S	Sabino C. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Veramente una splendida chiesa, ricca di opere, con volte e affreschi ovunque, nonostante io non sia un credente, amo visitare queste opere disseminate per le nostre città. Mi sono trovato lì in occasione di una comunione e non vi ero mai stato, sicuramente una chiesa da visitare e da ammirare. Truly a splendid church, rich in works, with vaults and frescoes everywhere, although I am not a believer, I love to visit these works scattered throughout our cities. I was there on the occasion of a communion and I had never been there, certainly a church to visit and admire.

È davvero una chiesa affascinante e interessante, considerando, soprattutto, che, oltre ad essere bella esteticamente, è poco conosciuta, pur trovandosi al centro di Milano. Questa chiesa risale ai primi anni del '900. Una chiesa intitolata a "Santa Maria Segreta" esisteva, in passato, in Piazza Cordusio, ma fu demolita nel 1911 per far spazio all'attuale "Palazzo Broggi". Si decise così di costruire la nuova chiesa, in Via Lorenzo Mascheroni, di fronte a Piazza Niccolò Tommaseo. Chiesa in stile neobarocco, è bellissima esteticamente sia all'esterno con la sua meravigliosa facciata e col suo abside in mattoni (che si affaccia sulla vicina Via Lodovico Ariosto), che all'interno con i suoi affreschi, i suoi lampadari in murano e la sua sagrestia!!!! La chiesa si trova a pochissimi metri dalla fermata della M1, Conciliazione, non molto distante dal Duomo (a sole 4 fermate, ndr), a pochi passi dal Cenacolo Vinciano e a 10 minuti a piedi dal Parco Sempione. BELLISSIMA CHIESA!!!! UNA VISITA È STRA-CONSIGLIATA!!!! One adjective: BEAUTIFUL !!!! It is truly a fascinating and interesting church, considering, above all, that, in addition to being aesthetically beautiful, it is little known, despite being in the center of Milan. This church dates back to the early 1900s. A church dedicated to "Santa Maria Segreta" existed in the past in Piazza Cordusio, but was demolished in 1911 to make room for the current "Palazzo Broggi". So it was decided to build the new church, in Via Lorenzo Mascheroni, in front of Piazza Niccolò Tommaseo. Neo-Baroque style church, it is aesthetically beautiful both outside with its wonderful facade and with its brick apse (overlooking the nearby Via Lodovico Ariosto), and inside with its frescoes, its Murano chandeliers and his sacristy !!!! The church is located a few meters from the M1 stop, Conciliazione, not far from the Duomo (only 4 stops, ed), a few steps from the Last Supper and a 10-minute walk from Parco Sempione. BEAUTIFUL CHURCH !!!! A VISIT IS EXTRA-RECOMMENDED !!!!

Inoltre la Chiesa e' dotata di Affreschi, Quadri e Sculture di fine '800. Veramente imponente. Vivissimi complimenti. Parish Church of "SANTA MARIA SEGRETA". A turn of the century church, with exemplary hand-painted arches. In addition, the Church is endowed with Frescos, Paintings and Sculptures from the end of the 19th century. Really impressive. Heartfelt congratulations.

La facciata ha delle linee austere che però si impreziosiscono con le nicchie ai lati del portone e la mezza cupola che sovrasta il portone di ingresso. Portale molto pittoresco con doppie colonne e statua di Maria con il bambino subito al di sopra. Particolare la presenza della faccia di angelo ai piedi di Maria e riportato anche su tutte le facce in cima alle due colonne anteriori e sue supporti del portone principale. (Ricorda molto il volto di Cupido presente in templi greci). Particolare che sullo sfondo si veda un grattacielo di Milano (vedi foto) Old style church but very beautiful especially the inside. The façade has austere lines which, however, are embellished with the niches on the sides of the door and the half dome that dominates the entrance door. Very picturesque portal with double columns and a statue of Mary with the child immediately above. Particular is the presence of the angel face at the feet of Mary and also reported on all the faces at the top of the two front columns and its supports of the main door. (It is very reminiscent of the face of Cupid present in Greek temples). Detail that in the background you can see a skyscraper in Milan (see photo)
