★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem, unique experience of 19th century built house in Renascent style, important art and furniture items, some of them dating from 15th. Must get the audio guide, makes all the difference to understand what you admire. Well worth the 9 euros entrance fee, there is also a restaurant outside in the yard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful house in the middle of the Milan fashion quarter ! Two brothers, the barons Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi have dedicated themselves refurbishing their house inspired by 16th century Lombard mansions. Just 7€ to visit this incredible collection, including audioguide, friendly and professional guides in almost each room of the house. I spent there two hours admiring every single item collected by the two brothers for many years. This house and its neighborhood makes proud every milanese. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful museum worth more than visiting the cathedral and other museums in Milan. It is not a tourist trap like an exhibition of Leonardo but a wonderful place where you can see seldom things, beautiful art and stuff that people used nach in the centuries. It is definetely a must see in Milan (even if not in any tour guide online) and I can definetely recommend it. It is a unique collection of unique things, pictures, writtings etc. from the last centuries! Grazie mille! Alla prossima!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful museum if you’re into medieval armory. The collection is quite small but still lots of weapons and armory. The history of the two brothers is interesting. They give you an audio guide at the entrance. The palace is amazing. Really worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem. Fascinating home of two brothers who carefully curated a collection of artwork to decorate their house. Good restaurant next door and fancy shopping on the streets nearby

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this museum so so much for the story behind it and how well-curated the whole experience is! Every tiny details in this house is included in the audio guide which they give you for free when you buy the ticket! It is also free entrance for Abbonamento Musei Lombardia. I would love to be back to drown myself into the story of Valsecchi family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very curious little museum in a former private property of Lombardian landowners, bearing a strong mark of personal tastes of the family who built, decorated and restored the building. The objects on display come from the private collection, which is rather interesting (intricate rather than sober). Also, check out the room displaying the history of the family in the form of personal documents, everyday objects like fans, baptism dress etc. This part of the collection is arranged in a room in separate drawers, a very nice way to display.
