★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The house was close when we arrived there even though internet said it was open. It is Saturday afternoon and it should be open or at least internet should warn if they decide to close earlier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting place. This building nested in downtown Milan is the house where Alessandro Manzoni was born, lived and died in 1873. A 50 minutes guided your takes the visitors through the several rooms mostly outfitted as museum. Ticket cost 5 euros at the office and store downstairs. Well worth

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not that interesting. It closes at 6 but they start locking things up earlier. The friendly girl at the reception still let me in at 5, but her colleague nearly chased me out of the museum.
