★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Medieval and Renaissance and also ancient history is my inspiration. If it would be possible, I give this museum 10 of 5 stars! Pictures, icons, Gobelins, knights armours etc - this is only a little part of exposition! If you are interested in history, you should visit this museum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing museum filled with an amazing variety of different pieces. From some of the most intricate sculptures and beautiful paintings. Extremely reasonable admission fee for a fantastic collection. Really loved the small figurines which were extremely delicate ans beautifully crafted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice museum with a surprise that the museum voice interpreter is equipped with Chinese language! I strongly recommend to spend 2.5-3 hours to deeply experience these Renaissance paintings!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ House museums often suffer from mediocre quality collections. The Poldi Pezzoli avoids that issue - a great, eclectic collection of paintings, furniture, clocks, lace, glass, jewelry, navigational instruments, arms & armor - you name it. Well worth the price of admission.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited May of 2022 for the first time. Certainly unique, similar to the Frick in New York in that it is the collection of a young man who died at age 57. Though his first love was arms, he acquitted himself well in collecting watches, porcelains, paintings -- practical works of art. Here are two I appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thoroughly love this museum and it’s superb collection of art, glass, armoury and porcelain. For me the paintings are the main reason to see this museum (world class) and the other objects are supporting the experience and understanding of the paintings as contest.
