★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bring plenty of water and supplies for 3 days minimum. I travel and rent cars at least once a month...and there is no worse office than Avis in Naples. I don’t even know why they bother asking you to put details in online if they then need to ask another 3 times when you rent (if their system doesn’t crash). This is the 3rd time and the experience is always the same (low or high season). I have to use these guys due to our company policy....but will pay out of my own pocket next time to avoid the 2 hour (really!) wait for your turn. Truly terrible service.
We asked the representative (Name: Ida) about the pricing (different on the paperwork than my online booking) and she just started arguing and going crazy at me.
I never leave reviews, but this was just unbelievable from start to finish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID!! Terrible company, complete scam artists. Paid online before arrival, did not want additional cover such as full insurance and made this clear at the counter on arrival. Was asked to sign a few documents, seemed routine and straight forward. The lady on the desk told us to ensure to check the car for damage before beginning the journey as we have NO insurance. However, on return of the car we were charged an additional almost 180e for insurance we had not wanted and were told did not have! Wish we had looked at the reviews before chosing this company- seems many others have had the same experience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reservation process was easy. Representatives were knowledgeable and helpful for our international rentals. We had to change our pick up date due to a flight cancellation, and the agent was very accommodating. It was taken care of in no time.
The child safety seats were in good condition and function. We had a very positive experience renting from Budget/Avis at Napoli Capodichino Airport, and will do it again next time we go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SCAM!!! First time meeting so cheating rental company! I travel a lot and have a big experience in renting cars, so believe me, I know what I’m talking about.
To be short, took an economy class car for 2 days, after what they stole 200 euro more in total from my card. First after 3 days I flew away and then they did it again after one month! Support will not help, they just continue spamming in emails and changing the reasons why they did it. Literally, they saying that it’s because of reason number 1, I sending all evidences that they wrong and in next email they changing reason to other one. Just criminals, like half of this city. Be careful and just go away!

I got a quote of €150 on their website and at the desk they asked for more money saying the insurance is not included, although on the website is was clearly stating that the cost includes CWU (collision waiver + protection for stolen). The lady at the desk could barely speak any English and was absolutely rude. She couldn’t offer a coherent explanation about the cost difference. She kept writing some numbers on paper. They don’t have any rental conditions, as I asked her. They are all scammers at this business. Please beware and avoid it. Does Avis UK know how they run the business in Napoli? Do they care?
