The absolute worst ferry company I've ever used. The people are insanely rude and disrespectful and scream at you for things you didn't even do. We should've known when we first got to the ticket booth in Salerno. The man at the booth was yelling at us to hurry up and was practically throwing the tickets at us, getting mad when we didn't have exact change and, after getting our tickets, rushed us out of the way with no decency. We board the first ferry and everything seems to be fine. When we stopped in Amalfi (we were getting off at Positano, so we stayed on) we all wanted to go to the top of the boat to get a better view. As I was getting ready to climb the stairs up to the top, one of the crew members yelled at me to let the people off first and to "use some logic" as well as not "be stupid". Not wanting to get kicked off early I kept my mouth shut. Everything was relatively normal, until the trip on the way back to Salerno. Midway through the trip the boat hit some wakes, resulting in water splashing over the boat around 3 times. This resulted in us, our stuff, and the inside of the boat itself drenched. We didn't mind much as it was hot anyway, and the three crew members didn't seem to mind either. They were laughing along with us, cracking jokes and asking us what we did. Everything seemed okay, and this set of crew members seemed much more friendly than last time. We dock in Salerno and begin to stand up. As we are, one of the crew members from before is shouting after us, saying we made a mess and that we need to clean it up. Still thinking they were joking, we laughed and continued to joke around. This same dude kept following us as we made our way off the boat, progressively getting what we thought was play angry. He kept telling us (yelling at this point) to stop laughing and to go clean up. We keep laughing and keep walking. We make it off the boat, and at this point the dude snapped and went off on us. He kept yelling that we made a mess and all we did was just laugh and that on their boat the work not play. We all thought he was kidding up until that point, so we were all somewhat confused. He kept accusing us of reaching in the water and splashing water on each other, making a mess on the floor. For one, my arm could not reach the sea. I was a good 10-15 feet away from the water. Second off, I was nowhere near strong enough to bring that much water on the boat to drench three of us and make a mess on the boat. He kept screaming at us that if we laughed or smiled again he would punch us, and that "people around here get killed". He continued making threats over something HE caused, and kept harassing us up until we left the dock. This was a terrible experience and a terrible company. Stay away from this company at all costs. There are many other companies offering cheaper than these scum.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. We paid and booked tickets from salerno to positano, positano to amalfi then amafi to salerno. The boat stopped and all passengers left. There was no announcements to say it was doing a drop to amalfi before positano and neither was this mentioned when booking tickets. We realised this too late, and when I spoke to lady at travelmar ticket booth, she said I was stupid and it is was my fault, and that If I still wanted to visit positano, I'd have to re purchase tickets back to amalfi! Really poor customer service and poor explanation for tourists.

Hopeless!!!! Booked tickets online and received a text message stating that tickets will be emailed and to present when boarding. So that's what I did as it could not be clearer. Then I get there show them my "ticket" and they would not accept it and I had to go get a boarding pass from their ticket booth only to get back seconds after the ferry had departed without me. What is the point of having an online booking system if you have to go and line up to pick up tickets? It defeats the purpose of online booking!!!! What's worse is I saw the exact same thing happen to several other people and spoke to someone else who had it happen to them. Sort it out! Do not send me a text message saying that this is the ticket and to present it when boarding when it is apparently NOT A TICKET!!! Do not use their online booking system........waste of time and money!!!!

If you buy tickets online, you still have to go to the ticket office at the port, even if they text you that the online ticket is you boarding pass! Besides that everything worked out fine. A bit crowded but if you get on the boat early you can sit in the front and enjoy the views

Staff were helpful and polite, helping with our luggage without us having to ask. We were particularly impressed with the way they helped a blind lady negotiate her way on and off the ferry. Great way to travel. Much better than on a crowded bus.

I really appreciate you taking the temperature of every passenger. Sadly I have just come off a ferry from Maiori to Amalfi where the lady in front of me measured 38.5 - which is clearly fever. I didn’t quite understand what she told them but clearly she wasn’t happy about not being allowed to board. After 5minutes back and forth they allowed her on. I really love Italy and this is not to be negative but please take your measures more seriously. Yes it was the same day as I left the review. It was the first ferry in the morning.

Very friendly and helpful crew. Clean and comfortable ferry with plenty of room and a great trip. BUT the old guy at the ticket office in Salerno on the right hand window on 3rd July at about 11am took advantage of my situation being in a rush to get on the ferry with three large bags and hand luggage and my wife and young child. This thief helped himself to 10euros of my change. The act was deliberate because the change provided was inserted amongst the tickets and the thief new that I was going to rush to get on the ferry and the shortfall would not be noticed until too late. Please Travelmar, take this money from the thief’s pay and give it to a decent charity.

Highly recommend! Kind, precise, they offer an excellent sea shuttle service. Very clean boat Fair price (€ 9.00 from Amalfi to Positano), good friendliness and excellent punctuality. The beauty of combining a nice trip on the sea to admire the splendor of the coast up close and the usefulness of the fastest and most practical means of getting around without having to do hours of traffic on the road. Well done !!
