★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnificent cathedral with a beautiful architecture ! I visited on December 2016, on Christmas time. Beautiful décorations on this occasion. This church will always remain in my heart because of the special prayer I ve made.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When thick-walleted tourists hit Amalf on their day tour,the church is considered a museum with 3€ fee and need to show your green pass to save the humankind from Covid.
Before 10am and after 5pm, it is a normal church:no need for a Covid pass since the Father,the Son and the Holy Ghost are there to protect y'all.
ps:Amalfi restaurants are a joke pricing pasta al pomodoro or with anchovies between 10 and 20€. Just go to Salerno to find the very same food for a 1/3 of that price....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful church! There was a lot that had been preserved inside and restored. There were a few sections to the church as well to explore. I would definitely recommend stopping in but make sure you are dressed appropriately as there are signs recommending to dress modestly out of respect. Admission is very cheap to get in and you’re able to move through the church at your own pace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So beautiful! Rivals Sienna chiesa! Palatial! €4.50 entry worth it! Also the antique, jewel-encrusted bishop gear was fascinating!!! Bring a good camera!

The church exterior looks almost Byzantine in design and is intricately created. The interior is less striking, being similar to most other Italian churches in the region, but pretty nonetheless.
