Non lasciatevi ingannare dalla torre all'esterno del chiostro: è un acquedotto, non la torre del passero solitario. Ho letto che, secondo alcuni studiosi, la vera torre cui si fa riferimento nella poesia non sia questa e vada ricercata più a valle. La segnaletica turistica non è molto precisa e i turisti non sempre si informano adeguatamente sui luoghi che visitano, osservando bene le foto. Ne è una prova il fatto che ho visto molte persone fermarsi a fotografare la Torre dell'acquedotto, posta nei pressi dell'ingresso del chiostro e restare poi esterefatte, avvicinandosi ad essa, nel leggere un cartello in cui, con tono scherzoso, si ringrazia per le foto e poi si specifica che si tratta di una semplice torre dell'acquedotto.
