Diciamo che non c'è nulla di così trascendentale ma il valore culturale ha un certo spessore.

C’è anche un piccolo bar e la biglietteria/souvenir shop della casa museo Leopardi.
È la notissima piazza citata nel “Sabato del Villaggio”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sulla piazzuola si affacciano, oltre a Palazzo Leopardi, pure la bella Chiesa di Santa Maria di Montemorello, in cui il poeta ricevette il Battesimo il 30 giugno 1798 e la casetta di Teresa Fattorini, la famosa “Silvia”, che era figlia del cocchiere di casa Leopardi e morì in giovane età di tubercolosi.
Il fascino di questo luogo con la sua atmosfera di "bellezza antica" mi è apparso un po' "rovinato" dall'edificio moderno adibito a biglietteria e shop.
Grazioso un angolo con panchine e circondati con enormi vasi di piante e fiori vari per piacevoli soste relax.
