β β β β β Ordered a pizza for me. It was OK. Kids and wife each had a different spaghetti dish and it was all OK. Bland would have to be a word to sum it up. My wife fished a piece of steel wool from her spaghetti which got us no discount, free desert or apology. On the bright side, my mum loved her lasagne. Price is not bad though.

β β β β β Ordered pizza for me and gluten free tomato pasta for her. Both dishes were bland tasting and portions were extremely small.
In the middle of the meal apparently the owner came to inform us that there is a extra fee for the gluten free pasta to cover the price difference. The fee ended up being outrageous 3 euros, which would buy a kilo of gluten free pasta!
The service was very unprofessional and not very friendly. The owner seemed to be scolding the waiters all the time which gave the place very nasty atmosphere. In addition, they charged us twice for the bottle of water, which I unfortunately noticed only later and did not feel like returning to complain.
Gluten free tomato pasta, pizza, a bottle of water and 0.5l red wine cost 29 euros (water was charged twice).
Avoid this place.

β β β β β We picked this place because it had the least crowd and I was very hungry. It took forever to get our food. Everyone else got their order and the family that arrived after us have already eaten their lasagna and paid their bill. After 1 hour, we had to ask the waiter about our order and he said 2 minutes so we waited. Another waiter came back and told us to wait another 2 minutes this time with a reason the pasta did not cook well and they had to throw it away. Yeah, right.. 1 hour to cook pasta? Then it arrived after 6 minutes. First bite, sand. Yes, there is sand all over my food. From the beginning to the end it was a horrible experience. We were treated different and the cashier was asking 1 euro more if I was going to pay with card. Waiter was standing next to the cashier and kept apologizing for the wait with a grin on his face. Avoid this restaurant especially if you are not white. But, if you like eating sand and have all day to burn then this is the place to go.

β β β β β Amazing food. Authentic Italian. Owner sitting outside having his lunch, speaking with locals makes it even more authentic. Staff were all great. Less than a minutes walk from the leaning tower. Highly recommend.
