Helpful English speaking staff, kitchen willing to accommodate requests such as pasta with the sauce on the side. Generous portions of tasty food at a reasonable price.

The restaurant is a little bit out of the way but it is far better than the tourist traps located on the main streets.

However, we were not disappointed in the least with our fare, my wife had the Sombrero pasta first course whilst I had the Wild Boar papardelli, both of which were delightful. The house Red wine was a superb Chianti which had clearly been allowed to breathe! Our main courses were Baked Sea Bream and Beef Fillet in Marsalla sauce, respectively, both again were very well prepared and beautifully presented. The waiter was a perfect host/young gentleman and unobtrusively attentive. I hope that many others read this review and reward this Osteria with the patronage it deserves.
