The restaurant is only a 5 min walk away from the Pisa tower and still itβs not very touristy.
We were here for an early dinner and were lucky to get the last table without a reservation. I would recommend a reservation if you want to go for dinner!
The hostess was very nice and provided great customer service. We had the meat & cheese platter (pictured) for an appetizer and the selection was great.
For our main dishes we had a tagliatelle with a wild boar ragout (pictured) which was really good as well as some ravioli. Delicious food. Accompanied with some Chianti from the area - a great visit, highly recommended!

β β β β β Staffs are very kind and nice. She speaks english very well. Her explanation about coperto and dishes what they use was good enough to understand. Their bread and some sauce are tasty. But the beef stew was not my style. Just my opinion.

β β β β β I highly recommend this restuarant. It's located next to the famous Square of Miracles, among typical tourist places with picture-menus, serving standard italian food, like spaghetti and pizza, but it's nothing like that. Allabona serves authentic tuscan cuisine. There's a big chance that you'll find the dishes you never heard of before. It's not gonna be a problem though, because the quick, and very kind staff knows everything about their products and provide you with all the necessary information and advice. The food is truly delicious, so as the wines.
I spent there three wonderful evenings, and if I ever come back to Pisa I will certainly eat at Allabona again.

β β β β β Very nice restaurant in Pisa with a lot of traditional Tuscan stuff ??? All the dishes I had were delicious and the location close to The Leaning Tower of Pisa makes this a perfect spot for the lunch or dinner after you take all the mandatory photos in Pisa β€

Zone and into the good stuff. The plates were delicious and the ustenciles are biodegradable, plus the water is free, also a first during this trip so I really recommend this place and the staff are super friendly so theyβll greet you well and youβll spend a good time and if youβre passing by Pisa, make this your pit stop!
