β β β β β Great place to eat. Opposite the University (academics do like to eat well...when they can afford it). The chef is superb and the food very affordable.

β β β β β The appetizer was correct.
The service was terrible, the gentleman stated that there was no table for one person, but after a while he found it for another client. I asked why he didn't find it for me, he finally gave me a table in the bushes, because others were reserved for couples, but later he gave them to lonely people. I did not choose the main course because of the service.
Answer:
There were two tables full, and a lonely gentleman with no reservations came for me and was seated. I was around for over an hour and the tables were free during that time.

β β β β β Pretty terrible food, cod fish tasted stale, octopus in both dishes was somewhat edible. Potato chips were good, though.
Didn't imagine I'd give a 1-star review to an italian restaurant, but there you go. Read the other low reviews too, many of them are quite detailed, too bad I read them only afterwards.

β β β β β This place is about 7-10 minutes walk from the leaning tower of Pisa. It is totally worth a visit to this family restaurant. It is very small and known, therefore, I recommend you book a table in advance. Price is affordable and very well served dishes. This day we order the White House wine, and it was great! My husband and I are fans of trying the house wines ?

β β β β β I thought the food was very good, even though I ate a seafood risotto that didn't feel that much like a risotto, more like a seafood rice, but it was very good. The torta della Nonna was also very good and served warm. The decoration is beautiful!
They have outside sitting on the street side, I've seen pictures of the inside garden, but it was closed when we visited.
Edit: we visited again in April and the garden was open and truly very pleasant. Being Easter Monday, the restaurant was full and service a bit slow, but other than that, the food was once again delicious!
