Really lovely restaurant on one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. We sat outside overlooking the glory of the main square. The food was simple yet delicious; the service prompt but friendly.

Our group of 9 Americans had a wonderful October lunch at Al Quattro Venti. Everything was delicious. I had the ravioli (spinach, cheese, and nutmeg) and a very special, creamy onion soup. I am recreating it here at home in the U.S. and wonder if you could share with me the herb that was in the soup. Rosemary?

Wonderful place - amazing food and great knowledgeable service. We went for lunch had the mixed crostini as an appetizer followed by 1) gnocchi with gorganzola and arugula and 2) ravioli with butter and sage - both were great. Waiter recommended a nice local wine. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the grand piazza.

The cheese pasta was awful - it didn't taste fresh and the cheese was tasteless. Ravioli was sloppy and over cooked. The Olive oil was cheap and nasty - not what you expect in Tuscany! We were surrounded by Americans which just create this touristic atmosphere. No locals would eat here that was clear. The waitress walked around chewing gum. On another table which had steak I could see it was lovely and rare so I have this 2 stars as maybe it's just the pasta.

Superb. Our family has been traveling throughout southern Europe for several weeks now and of all the restaurants we've visited thus far - everyone enjoyed this food most. The wait staff was kind and the location was great. Sitting outside, even on a hot summer day is enjoyable because there is shade from the buildings & umbrellas and plenty of Montepulciano hilltop wind to keep you cooled off.

Of the 10 restaurants we have tried in Montepulciano, this was the most disappointing. Very uninspired cooking, fagioli like cold baked beans, mixed salad hardly bothering... we went here because all the good ones were booked, and regretted it.

Gorgeous spot overlooking the piazza, if you're outside. Was recommended by a local and found the dishes simple but fully flavoured, which was good! Staff attentive, friendly, good portion sizes which allowed a second dish, good wine selection... happy to have rested here!

A great little spot, great service, food as exceptional. The gnocchi was terrific with a beautiful tomato flavours. Panacotta never before have I had so smooth. Wine was great. Sitting outside in the shade watching into the Piazza Grand.
